my dad is storeing food in the basment for the zombie war its anoying he also bought me a gun, okaaay then
A body does stiffen. It's called rigor Morris. But this is only a temporary effect. And you are right, the raising from the grave is complete nonsense. If someone dies that is effected, the turning rate in most books is 3-6 hours, but since there have (obviously) been no actual zombie reports, we don't know this is for sure. And normally a person gets buried a few days after they die. Plus most present day coffins are concrete. And the ones that are wood are a very dense oak wood. Almost impossible to break through. And then climb through six feet of compacted dirt? I doubt it. The arm thing COULD potentially be possible because of the way the virus works. It might be easier for it to just stiffen all the muscles at once and then be selective in which ones to move and operate, which is why the arms would stick out. As for saying you could shoot it on the lung to kill it, I dont think you even read what I posted because I already explained this. it is an animated dead body. It doesn't breathe. It is just a bung of electronically controlled muscles.
And as for weapons getting revolver is just stupid. It has six shots and then you have to reload when lots of modern pistols have twelve shots. And you should never use a pistol unless zombies are up close and personal. Plus reloading six individual chambers takes much longer to reload than simply changing clips. And if you walk into a room of a dozen zombies a revolver will get you killed.
Soo, I'm not like a pro on this topic or anything, but new things don't just appear. Everything that is here was here from the beginning, so if there was to be a zombie apocalypse, wouldn't it already have happened? I mean it would have had tens of thousands of years to have happened before now.
Well tens of thousands of years ago human were just now inventing the wheel. Now we have things like antibiotics and bio chemical warfare. So yes everything was already here. Law of conservation states that no matter can be destroyed or created. But the disease could very well end up being man made. Have you ever read The Stand by Stephen King? Something similar to that only with a zombie virus instead of a death virus.
