I stir from my sleep as light from the bedroom window slanted over my face. I yawn and stretch, brushing my hair out of my face, the sun making it shine like copper. I roll over and hear a light fluttering sound if paper and look over the bedside. There was a piece of folded up paper laying on the ground and i snatch it up, unfolding it. You look so cute when you sleep. the top of it read and i feel my eyes widen and my heart beat faster. On the bottom half was a detailed sketch of me sleeping. It was drawn in pencil and looked professionally done. As if somebody had hours to do it. I rigidly grabbed the bedside phone and called 911. "911 what is you emergency?" i hear the operator say. "can you please put me on the police?" i say, feeling my voice crack. [/i] "just a moment please." [/i] the operator says before putting me on hold. After what seemed like forever someone answered. "Police station what can we do for you?" a man on the other line says. "Hello, my name is Lilly Sayler, im 17 and im being stalked." i say desperately. "Ok, can you tell me about the incidents that have occurred that have proven that you have been getting stalked?" the police officer sounded uninterested. "uh, yes first off I was followed home by a red minivan and i rushed inside and a man came out and started taking pictures of my house." I say this all slowly and pause to let the police officer absorb this information and tell him all i could of what the man looked like. "Then today i woke up and found a detailed sketch of me sleeping!" i say and my breath turns ragged. "Ok, thank you miss but im sorry, theres not much we can do at the moment." "what?" i exclaim, flabbergasted. "Without physical proof we cant investigate this case. Im sorry." Im astonished. "but, i got the letter." "Yes ma'm but its not solid enough for us to go on." I suddenly realise what he means. "he has to hurt me physically before you can do anything." i say, disgusted with the police. "im sorry, but we can send a-" I hang up before the officer can continue. I snort before heading to the bathroom to brush my hair. I felt a shiver down my spine and i look around, the odd sensation of being watched.
