There is some mature content later on in the story and I would love comments on the story, I will post piece by piece and I might do it like once a week or mate every other day, just tell me what I should do! -------------------------------------------- The Red Past Prologue The house was dark, eerie even. The only noise was the sound of the grandfather clock in the corner of the living room, ticking, every single second. The house seemed to tremble under the weight of the heavy steps, walking through the kitchen, dining room and the living room. Fingerprints go across the furniture, leaving streaks across. The outline of the shadow that was seen in the reflection of the moonlight was, tall and dark. This shadow had a name, Landon Carson was that name. Landon walked down the hallway and into the bathroom, turned on the light and gazed at his reflection. He viewed himself through someone else’s eyes, he saw himself for what he truly is, a psychotic man. He was a deranged man who had murder in his eyes. He bent his head toward the sink and switched the faucet on, cold as ice. Landon stuck his hand into the water and splashed his face with the freezing water. He glanced back up to the mirror and saw that his eyes were bloodshot and that the pupil was so large that his eyes looked pitch dark. Landon was terrified of his reflection. He turned off the lights and left the bathroom in haste. Landon stopped by the utility room and looked for his baseball bat, when he found it he tossed it in the air and caught it casually. Landon smiled to himself and gripped the bat tighter in his hand. He left the room and strolled towards the master bedroom; he opened the door silently and walked in. He studied the figure in the bed, his wife, his dark haired beauty, his Gaea. He looked at her questioningly and saw her swollen belly. That belly was what started causing Landon to lose his mind, she was five months into the pregnancy and the supposed conception date doesn’t match up to when Landon was home. Around the time that she apparently conceived, she started staying out late, defying his authority and arguing with him. Landon didn’t understand why she started to; he figured she was just being defiant. It was making him angry though and that swollen belly was the final straw. Landon knew that baby that she was carrying was not his at all, it couldn’t be. It made him angry that she kept saying that it was his, why couldn’t she just tell him the truth? Everything would have been so much easier if she had. Landon knew that she was having an affair, with who he didn’t know. He just knew that he would come home randomly and she would be all sweaty and she would smell like a man. He assumed that this could only mean one thing. She was cheating and kept lying to Landon. Landon had been getting so angry lately, that a month ago he actually hit her. The rush that he got when his hand made a connection to her flesh was overpowering. It made him feel like a man, it showed her who the man in the relationship was. After that day she came home right after work, never argued and did anything he wanted her to do. His anger only continued to rise as the days went by, her growing uterus was a sign of her betrayal and he stared at it every day. It mocked him, made fun of him. He hated her for it, hated the baby and the guy who made it. As he gazed at her belly now, it only made him angrier; he wanted to demolish something, anything.
I decided to update it a little early, hope you enjoy -------------------------------------------- He left the room and walked towards the baby’s bedroom, light yellow walls and a baby crib against the back wall, it even had a changing station and a rocking chair. Gaea didn’t want to know the baby’s sex until it was born, so everything they have bought was all neutral colors. Landon looked at the baby crib and his temper rose to all new heights. He strolled over to the crib, raised his bat and swung the bat down, connecting with the crib with a satisfying crunch. He just continued to swing the bat up and down. He shut his eyes and blindly connected the bat to the crib and suddenly stopped. He put his hand to his eyes and felt wetness, he was crying. He never cried before. Gaea made him so angry and he loved her so much. Landon listened closely. He heard movement in the master bedroom and quieted down. --------------------------------------------

He had to stay quiet, didn’t want Gaea to wake up, it would just ruin everything. She would panic, call the cops and his plan would be ruined. It would be completely ruined, all because he couldn’t control his anger. He left the room and tip toed back into the master bedroom, shut the door and locked it. Landon stalked around the bed and touched her shoulder softly. “Hey Landon, sweetie, are you coming to bed?” she mumbled groggily. Landon looked at his wife and shook his head, opened the oak dresser and found a roll of duct tape. He ripped a piece off and looked into her green eyes; he placed the tape right over her mouth. He saw the fear and anxiety in her eyes and his pulse rose, he wanted more fear. “No, I will not be coming to bed, not anytime soon, and never with you again,” when he finished speaking her eyes flashed to the bat that he held in his hand. He raised it warningly, and walked over to turn on the light, he wanted to see all of this, every single part. “You remember this bat don’t you? Yeah, the buddies and I used to play with it when we first met, it is actually the same bat that I used to win that baseball game the day we started dating. It’s a beauty isn’t it?” he laughed maliciously and continued “and tonight, I am going to play baseball with you.” Gaea started to thrash around on the bed and he slapped her, looked her into her eyes, “stop moving, it will only be harder for you,” he said softly into her ear. Her eyes were full of tears and she shook her head repeatedly, as if she didn’t understand what was going to happen. She knew what was going to happen, she wasn’t a stupid woman. “Did you really think I would let you get away with that?” he spat out while he pointed his bat toward her belly. “Bet you also didn’t think I was capable of this, but guess what babe? I am!” He turned around, showing her his full body. “This is what you married; this is what you cheated on, now you’re going to see everything.” He chuckled and slapped her again, this time for fun. Gaea was just crying and he saw that she was genuinely terrified of him. That is exactly what Landon wanted. He wanted to see her pain and see how scared she was of him. He grabbed some rope and tied her to the bed post. He made sure each of the knots was tight and she couldn’t escape. He walked around the bed, contemplating what his next step should be. He brought the bat over his head, went to swing and stopped, chuckled and looked at Gaea. Her body was trembling and she was trying so hard not to thrash and escape. All she could do was watch his every movement and pray that she would have a few more minutes to live. Landon pointed to her belly with the bat, “that is the reason we are here tonight. You are unfaithful and that is not my child. I know it isn’t and you better stop lying to me right now. I hate liars so much. All you have been doing is lying; do you even know what the truth is anymore? I don’t think that you do, I think you are living in a fantasy, and you just believe its reality now. Did you actually think I was going to care for a child that is not mine? That I would actually be happy to? It’s only a reminder of what a little skank you are. It makes me furious, every time I see you, my anger just keeps rising until all I want to do is hit you over and over.” When his rant was finished he sat on the bed next to her, raised his hand and slapped her right across her face so hard that his hand print was there instantly. He stood back up and stared at her. “Now it’s you’re time to die, hope you have fun in Hell.” Leave comments
This part of the story might not be for the weak of heart. Rating Mature. Landon lifted the bat over his head and swung down, towards her legs first, hitting hard and fast. He heard a crunch and smiled, laughed and then moved to her arms. He took his time with her arms, hitting them softly repeatedly until they were bruised and swollen. Then he looked at her stomach that cursed stomach, the one that caused everything to spiral out of control. He swung the bat so hard and fast that he felt Gaea’s body jerk and resist the hit. Hitting this spot made him feel light, out of control, happy even. He hit it so many times that his arms started getting tired. When he was satisfied that the little bastard inside her was good as dead he stopped, he knelt by her face and saw that her body was unresponsive. He smiled to himself and swung the bat one last time, connecting to her face and she just stopped breathing. Landon looked over her body and saw the blood just seeping out of her wounds. Landon was satisfied with himself. He untied her from the bedposts and covered her up with the comforter. “I lied, I will be coming to bed, and you just won’t remember it. Good night my love, you deserve everything you got tonight.” He crawled into bed next to her, closed his eyes and slept like an unborn baby. End of the prologue, chapter one to be started soon
