If you got a post on your wall from her with a big "F", then you're a forumer On July 15-16, OFH-MissLuv and -Couch_Violating_Panda- are having an "I'm the master, she's the slave" wedding war. I call being a master Juicy Party House is now the number 1 strongest club. J31 (US), my-dorm-name (US), and RONNY43 (Asia) are our new moderators! I wish you all luck Forums Report If you're a true forumer, then you probably got a "Forumer Stamp" from -SBO-GracieMonster! If you didn't, go whine about it on her thread found here. The_Skeleton_Prince has challenged Adelynn's thread record of over 50000 posts and counting. Will he ever beat it? Find his thread here. Apparently -UI-MizNatie- is a bully. For attacking oXMonsterXo. Lol k. Find the thread here. So I guess it's Canada day. Drew11000 made a thread about it here. Never heard of it, but happy Canada Day! KingCal is making a new game everyday for forums! Finally, forums are getting slightly more fun. Now for a slightly new section in Oreo's News... Fan Fiction Story of the Day This week's "Story of the Day" is 'Till the Death of Me by Eli Manson. A slightly new story, it's already caught my attention. Great detail, great grammar, great storyline. It's quite interesting. Check it out here! World News In the United States, Obamacare has been officially passed. Republicans are trying to repeal this currently. Has anyone heard of Ryan Murphy, the 16-year-old Bolles swimmer that almost made it into the 2012 Olympics for the 200-meter backstroke? Yeah. My sister knows him More than $60 million and two years later, Apple finally owns the rights to the name iPad in China. Turkey scrambled fighter jets three separate times Saturday as Syrian helicopters neared the border between the two countries. Explosions targeting two churches in Kenya near the Somali border killed at least 17 people, in the latest spate of attacks on the East African nation. Sports Section The underlined team is the winning team. The Emoji is the sport. Phillies vs. Marlins: 2-5 Indians vs. Orioles: 6-2 Nationals vs. Braves: 8-4 Pirates vs. Cardinals: 4-5 Astros vs. Cubs: 0-3 Tip of the Day If you need to ask a question, my advice is to wall someone or post on Campus Chat. If you post a whole thread with one little question, you are going to get attacked/trolled by many players. That's a fact. There is also a thread made by _Warrior that you can ask questions on, which you can find here. My Bucket List Here are 5 more things to add to my awesome Bucket List: 1. Run away for a day and join the circus. 2. Have a video of me when I'm drunk. I'm interested to see what I act like 3. Pretend to work at Publix and give people the wrong isle numbers. 4. Put my mom's phone number in a jacket in Walmart 5. Ask an ice cream truck driver for his/her autograph. Picture of the Day Oh my gosh, I just had to pick this one Interviews Yes, the magical Oreo's News Interviews are back! This week, I interviewed the three new mods: j31, RONNY43, and my-dorm-name! j31's Interview What was your initial response when you found out that you were becoming a mod? I was in complete shock. There were so many other candidates that I thought were perfect for the position. How has the mod life been treating you? What are some of the obstacles you've faced? Well most everyone has been great and so nice! I did have my first hate thread within about 2 hours of getting the position. So a warm welcome overall. Obstacles... Hmm. I am still new so I do ask a lot of other mods and support a lot of questions to clarify. What was the hardest part of the mod application process to you? I guess that would have to be the waiting for a response. When filling out the application and answering questions I just went with my gut. I pressed the "send" button quickly so I wouldn't second guess myself and go back and rewrite it. If you had to choose, what would be one power you would give or take away from the mods? I like the mods to have the ability to go invisible. Not only with the green circle but to be able to wall people and be private when warning other players of violations and such. Take away? I can't really think of anything. RONNY43's Interview What was your initial response when you found out that you were becoming a mod? I was surprised. Didn't think I'd be selected. Lol It came with a surprise cause I waited for almost 5 months and I didn't had any hope. How has the mod life been treating you? What are some of the obstacles you've faced? Still excited with a feeling of responsibility. Till now, I am enjoying without any obstacles. What was the hardest part of the mod application process to you? Hmm...telling about myself and my PIMD life till date. As it was really hard to write so many things in few paragraph, I might as well have wrote a book. Lol. If you had to choose, what would be one power you would give or take away from the mods? I want to get the power to change peoples' names and club names. Might give away power to clean the status. my-dorm-name's Interview What was your initial response when you found out that you were becoming a mod? The gravity of the situation didn't really hit me until I saw the communities reaction. I had so many notifications! So, I'd say I felt a little overwhelmed. How has the mod life been treating you? What are some of the obstacles you've faced? Mod life has been treating me well, the mod family have been very supportive of the newbies. The biggest obstacle I have faced is the prejudgment from a lot of players. What was the hardest part of the mod application process to you? I wanted to be chosen for being me. I answered all the questions honestly so I can't say that the actual application was hard. The hardest part was the waiting, you have to be patient. If you had to choose, what would be one power you would give or take away from the mods? Time travel. Ending Sorry for not posting an Oreo's News in a while I am not determined to post one every week to beat PIMD's current record of the longest-running news, which is Boo's News at 16 issues. I'm almost there A special thank you to j31, RONNY43, and my-dorm-name for being awesome interviewees, and for taking the time out of your mod lives and real lives to do this silly little interview Thanks again Thank you to all of my devoted readers If you have any suggestions for new sections/segments for Oreo's News, please feel free to post them here or wall me I like to keep this as interesting as possible.
