Slouching on the steps of an abandoned building, Jamie begged for money. All of the other boys ran around the streets playing games like Tag and Leap frog. He sighed, anyway he was a poor, lonely boy so who would play with him? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Unfortunately, that week he only got 13pence from begging. He was sick of only getting a pack of Haribos so he attempted to steal a painting from the market. He got caught and sent to prison for a month. The month went like a year while the miserable boy sat on the jail bed.
Re: James- A poor boy story part 2 When the month was over, James trudged back onto the streets to beg again. Now it was winter, the toady had turned icy, the paths were covered in snow. This cold and terrified boy was stood in the middle of a loud and crowded street. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Something wasn't right, James knew it. When he turned the corner, he saw a rich and cozy mansion with money and warmth inside. Climbing through the window, a police officer, who had been following the young boy, shouted "Stop thief!" James knew his time would be up, so he scrambled through the window, ran across the hall and snook upstairs. Someone else was there who was Dressed like him. "Hey," whispered James "I'm James." "Hey James," whispered the boy "I'm Isaac." "Who's there?!" screamed a woman while James and Isaac ran down the stairs and out of the back door. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When they had escaped the house, they ran until the police had stopped looking for them. Infront of them, was a woman who looked quite pretty. "mummy!" shouted Isaac as he ran into the comfort of her arms. James watched as his new friend and his mum walked off into the streets.
