    Chapter 29
    Three months later

I was taking deep breaths, trying to stay calm. This was it, our marriage ceremony. I was in my beautiful wedding dress while my brides mates, Maria, Katelynn, and Carrie Johnson, were wearing black dresses. I was so nervous.
"You'll be fine," Katelynn said, patting my hand lightly.
"But what if something goes wrong? What if I fall? What if I get embarrassed? What if-" I said.
"You will be fine! Just breathe," Maria said. I took deep breaths until I felt relaxed again.
"Right," I whispered. I stood in front of a mirror, smoothing my white dress.
My father stood next to me and said, "It's time, Marie." I nodded and took another deep breath. My friends smiled at me and left. I walked away from the mirror and look at my father. He linked my arm with his and stepped with me outside the room I was in. We walked through the hall and into the main room where everything was set up.
We walked in, taking one small step at a time. Dustin had his hair slicked back and he was wearing the traditional tux with a white rose on his lapel. He was smiling at me with Brian at his side. Brian was also smiling and Dustin locked his eyes with mine. As I walked down the isle, I started to get nervous. I took a deep breath and stepped up ad stood in front of Dustin and the minister.
I wasn't paying much of attention to the minister until he said, "...till death do you part?"
    "I do," I said, smiling.
He said the same words to Dustin and he said, "I do."
"Does anyone here wish to say something now or forever hold their peace?" the minister asked to the crowd. No one said a word and he said, "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Dustin smiled after keeping such a serious face and cupped my face in his hands. Then he kissed me gently and pulled back slowly, taking my hand. We walked down the isle, hand in hand, as everyone stood.
    What an amazing wedding.

    Chapter 30

After the reception, the traditional father-daughter dance, cutting of the cake, etc. we left and headed to Paris for our honeymoon. I fell asleep on the private jet there after I changed into a nightgown.
I woke up, curled into Dustin's side. I groaned and stretched, looking over at Dustin. He was smiling at me, watching me.
"Well, you are awake, Mrs. Leyman," he smiled.
"I love the sound of that," I giggled and curled into him again. He kissed the top of my head and wrapped his arms around me.
"The jet is about to land, so you might change." He released me and let me stand. I smiled at him and changed into casual clothes in the bathroom. I came out as he went in, also changing into casual clothes. Before the plane landed, we ate and grabbed our luggage, which was just a suitcase for him and a suitcase for me. We landed and got out, shielding our eyes from the bright sunlight.
We checked into our hotel and unpacked before we left to check out the city of love. We got in a cab and went to the Eiffel Tower. We took the stairs and by the time we got to the top, we were exhausted.
"Remind me to never take the stairs again," I said, trying to catch my breath.
"It was your idea," he said breathlessly.
"Sorry," I said. We took our time there, gazing out to the beautiful city. I leaned on him, head on his shoulder, while he had his arm around me. I felt like we seemed to be the perfect couple. Around us, people from countries around were whispering about us. I could understand most, but others were tricky and I couldn't understand them.
    "...how adorable..." one said.
"...so cute, aren't they..." said another. I smiled to myself as I listened to their comments. It started to get dark and we took the elevator down. I looked up at the sky as I walked out with Dustin, onto the sidewalk. I was getting dark quickly, which seemed unusual.
Suddenly, I felt a drop of rain hit my cheek. I stood there, feeling more splash on my face. Dustin smiled at me and I knew what he was thinking. I put my arms around him, letting myself get wet, and kissed him. He placed his arms around me as he kissed me.
The how time I was thinking about how perfect the moment was. We were in Paris, France, the city of love. It was raining as people put up their umbrellas and went into local shops to hide from the rain. And the whole time, we were standing there, kissing like no one was there. Like we were alone, no sound, no other person, just us, kissing in the rain.
When we came up for air, we smiled at each other. That kiss sent chills down my spine. Or was that the cold rain? Anyway we got into a cab afterwards and headed back to the hotel.
When we arrived an paid the cab driver, we headed inside the warm lobby. We waited for the elevator, smiling and holding hands like we were a high school couple. We got in after we heard the ding of it reaching the lobby and hit the number of the floor our suite was at. We waited, not minding that three other people got on as we went up, that our hair was sticking to our foreheads, or that we were soaking wet.
We got off at our floor and ran to our suite, edger to get out of our wet clothes. He pulled out the key and opened the door. We ran in and stripped down, not caring that we were stripping down in front of each other. We got dressed in our night clothes, a white, lace nightgown for me and pajama bottoms for Dustin. We laid in bed, watching tv, even though it was in French. I laid my head on his chest and he stroked the hair to one side of my head.
    "Marie..." Dustin said.
    "Hmm..." I said.
"What do you want to do tomorrow?" he asked.
"Stay here, in the hotel, and rest," I replied after thinking a moment.
"Sure, honey," he smiled and kissed my cheek. I turned to look at him and he was smiling down at me. I pulled him down and gave him a kiss. It was a passionate one, that lead to a little more.

    Chapter 31
    Three months later

We were in the bathroom, nervous. Why, you may ask. Because I hadn't had my period in over two months, not since that night in Paris. Dustin was more nervous than I was. Why, I don't know.
I took a look at the pregnancy test. Still, nothing. I was anxious, because I think this is what was leading to that dream. Not a nightmare anymore, just a sweet dream. Dustin was pacing like crazy, wanting this to hurry up. I put a hand on his arm, stopping him.
"Relax, sweetheart," I said. I grabbed the test and looked at it, seeing blue. I grabbed the box, trying to find the directions. When I found them, I read them over.
"Blue, blue, blue," I whispered, still scanning over the box. I found out the sweetest thing in the world. I turned to Dustin, who had panic written all over his face.
"Well?!" he exclaimed. My straight face turned into a smile. He smiled back as I nodded.
"We are having a child!" I exclaimed, hugging him.
"I can't believe it!" he exclaimed, twirling me around.

    Four months later

I woke up, yawning. I smiled, seeing the bump that held my child. I sat up slightly, not enough to wake Dustin. I yawned again and stretched as I looked around the room. I smiled at the beautiful red colors that surrounded me.
I heard Dustin shift and yawn, his arms reaching above him. He sat up and smiled at me.
    "Morning, beautiful," he said, smiling.
"Morning, love," I replied, also smiling.
I looked back to my bump, smiling at it.
Dustin placed his hand on the bump as I felt a kicking.
"How is he?" he asked. I felt a pang of remembrance, like this had happened before.
"Kicking as always," I said, smiling. Then I remembered the dream I had. Dustin chuckled as I turned to look at him.
    "What?" I asked.
"You are so adorable, honey," he said, smiling. "And then we have our little Carter." He kissed my nose.
I closed my eyes and smiled.
    "Love?" Dustin asked.
    "Hmm?" I asked.
"What do you think about...another?" Dustin asked.
"Yes," I said, "It sounds amazing."
    "Really?" he asked, smiling.
"Yes. Another child will be great," I smiled.
"Great!" he smiled. He kissed me and got up, ready to fix breakfast. I stood slowly, feeling the morning nausea come into place. I walked to the bathroom and let my morning sickness take over. After I was done, I stood, stretching my back. I walked out and to the dining room. I smiled at Dustin as he served me the usual breakfast.
"You do too much, sweetheart," I commented as he picked up my plate and silverware to take them to the kitchen.
"Anything for you, love. You deserve to be treated like the princess you are," he smiled. His kissed my head and walked out of the room. I smiled and stood slowly, smiling. God, I loved the man

    Chapter 32
    Two and a half years later

I walked through the entrance, holding my bump. This time it was little Carol Anne. I was holding hands with Dustin. His hand slipped from mine as he adjusted little two year old Carter in his arms. I held my arms out for him as Dustin handed Carter to me. I carried him in my arms as I walked to the pay booth of the zoo.
"Hello, madam, how may I help you?" asked the man.
"Two adults and a two year old," I smiled.
"That will be $17.53." I gave him the money and he let us pass. We walked through as Carter pointed out the animals, asking what they were.
"What's that?" he asked when he saw each animal.
    "That's a monkey....flamingo...panda...bear...lion..."
We were nearing the end when I heard Carter yawn.
    "Mommy," he said.
"Yes, sweetie?" I asked, smiling at him.
"I'm tired, Mommy. I want to go home."
I smiled at him and handed him to Dustin as we headed out. I held my stomach as we left, feeling exhausted myself.
Dustin placed Carter in his car seat as I got in the car. He got in and he started the car. Carter yawned again as I did. I smiled and closed my eyes. And with that, I fell asleep.

    Epilogue

I gave birth to Carol Anne Leyman three months later. I watched them grow as I grew old with Dustin. We lived a peaceful life even after we had our third child, Amber Marie Leyman. And that is the end to our story.
