Well I just downloaded all 3 books heard they very good anyone else read them? What's your opinions please
If they weren't full of fucking erotic scenes from what I've heard and seem (a glimpse of a paragraph made me cringe), I'd say yes. But dear God, I'm disgusted by it. A trilogy? Really? I can't believe the local library has this bullshit.
Goldia, the local library has plenty of books like this. Haha. It's just a sex scene. Don't like it? Skip over it. Bak to the OP's question... I'm about halfway through the first book and kind of surprised that it is so popular. The writing is pretty poor. And she carries the whole "grey" metaphor through EVERYTHING. It's annoying. The character's last name, his company, his company's building, his eyes, the girl's graduation dress. We get it already! Not everything has to be grey!!! \: Despite how poorly written it is, I'm probably going to finish the trilogy just to see what happens.
I think that's the point of the books... 50 shades of grey? What did you think you were going to get with the title?
All my friends are raving about it had to download them just to see need something to do when on regen in war
It is possible to make something a metaphor or symbolic while being more subtle about it. She didn't need to make everything grey. Use the the writing device sparingly!
It's not that good cuz it was a twilight fanfiction at first but got changed. (I only know this bcuz of my friend's sister's friend's sister's friend) Anyway I hate it! I mean there's too much eroticness and greyness. I don't get why it's popular >.>! -Nightmare
Saw Selena Gomez's parody for it: "50 Shades of Blue". Pretty sure I would rather read that than a Twilight fan fiction
I really want to get my hands on the books... I actually heard that, aside from the erotica, the writer did really good... As in, it's a good book in general, even without the sex scenes, so adding them in is just a taste from the author.
I'm rather struggling with the amount of control the character demands that the other main character surrender lololol Other than that, it's good in the sense that you have characters dealing with things that aren't normally written about in books because it's taboo or whathaveyou
Hmm. I think sometimes the sex scenes were too frequent. More spaced apart would have been better. I love the characters though. Their personalities and traits were well done. I also didn't like the overuse of teenage girl remarks. I think I read 'Oh my!' about 5 times in one paragraph.
