A Monster Called Daddy "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" I shout at the top of my lungs, running down as far as my legs will carry me. I didn't do anything. I didn't say anything. Why me? Why does he always come after me? "COME BACK HERE DAMMIT! JENNY GET BACK HERE NOW OR I'LL KILL YOU TONIGHT!" 'I'm so scared.' I think sarcastically still running for my life. What sucks is that I really was scared. It seemed like nothing...no one would help me. Maybe what the voice said was true. Maybe I was really going to die at 16. If I was, I could tell you who my murderer would be. Right here right now. With out a doubt in my mind I could tell you 100% that my murderer would be him. Him. The monster. I can't even bring myself to call him anything other than that. I could feel him running behind me with his best belt in hand, just waiting to strike my already damaged sensitive skin. This was the most motivation he had ever gave me during his whole existence. This motivated me to run. Run run run! Don't look back. You know he's coming up behind you. You know what he could do to you. Pssh. You know. Hit you. Kick you. Slash you with that belt of his. KILL YOU. RUN DAMMIT! RUN! Best motivation ever. When I finally reached the the front door of my house I knew this was ever. From this point on anything and everything that happened would have to be fast. Do something just 1 second slower than you should and you're dead. Dead. Abolished. Gone. Forever. For good. I quickly unlocked the door knob and pulled the door shut behind me. I knew he was only seconds away. I ran for the nearest tree I could find. I hid there. Stiller than a mannequin I stood. Waiting. Praying. Praying that he wouldn't find me.
I have empty pictures frames around my house that used to be affiliated with relationships that could have been, but now they are just filled with memories an empty promises. But one of these days I will fill those pictures with the woman of my dream, and the other woman I will love, who will be my daughter <3
