But I decided to update, for all of you. P.S. I forgot how a Peacekeeper's uniform looked like. So forgive any mistakes Thanks! --- -Chapter 9- Opening Ceremonies Universal POV The crowd goes wild as the chariots roll out one after another. First, the glittering duo from District One enters the City Circle. The girl, Blaire Herrera, is wearing a long, strapless gown made out of genuine jewels sewn together with multicoloured silk thread, and six-inch gold heels. Victor Hawthorne, her district partner, is wearing a tuxedo similar to Blaire's gown and glittering gold pants, and pure, snow white leather shoes. The crowd seems to like it. It's original and represents the district's luxury industry, but will the sponsors like it? District Two enters next. Solin Raven Pryde is wearing a Peacekeeper uniform top that has a low, V-neck collar showing off her cleavage. The soft, silky translucent white sheet billows out. It's a wonder how it stays attached to the back of her white shorts. Kai is wearing a similar Peacekeeper uniform, except he is wearing white pants instead of the horrible skin-tight, yet puffy trousers Peacekeepers are forced to wear. District Three is quite the disappointment. The twins, Bolt and Zazia Sparks, are simply wearing tight black jumpsuits with a huge electrical bolt stuck to the front and back. It's time for a new stylist for Three! Next up is another pair of twins, Daniel and Tiffany Odair! Their outfits elicit quite the cheer from the crowd. Tiffany is decked out in a stunning azure dress which has a frilly hem and ends just above her knees. Her azure heels compliment the dress perfectly. Daniel's teal tuxedo and snow white pants do not disappoint either. District Five, the power industry! Chayse Reyes is looking stunning and majestic in her golden gown which trails behind her, it's single sleeve decked out with golden feathers tickling her right shoulder. Virus Foxx, however, is far from majestic. He simply looks wimpy in his golden tuxedo, which looks about two sizes too big. Is it time for a new tailor, or is it simply because Virus is slouching? The two are wearing golden crowns. But would one of them return with the victor's crown? On to District Six, the transportation industry! Greta Halis and Aries Tate are looking striking in their indigo sailor uniforms, their sailor hats tipped to a side. The steering wheels they are holding give the outfit a nice touch. District Seven, the lumber industry! Usually the tributes are dressed like trees, but Celeste Jones and Tanner Lester aren't this time. It can hardly be counted as a relief though, when both are dressed as boring lumberjacks, wielding axes weakly. It's a wonder they aren't dropping them. The textile industry, District Eight, surprises us this year with both tributes wearing patchwork outfits. Midnight Everia is wearing a long gown made out of multicoloured threads. From afar, it resembles a patchwork design. Saori Winters is clothed in a patchwork jacket, a paint-splattered cap, black pants with silver metal chains attached to the belt and paint-splattered sneakers. The twins from the grain industry, District Nine, returns this year with glamourous outfits. Echo Saluna is wearing a long, black sleeveless gown with golden streaks resembling wheat decorating the flowing skirt of the gown. Faun Saluna's black leather jacket has similar designs which match perfectly with his gold shirt, black pants and black sneakers with golden streaks. The pair from District Ten, Katherine Velvet and Tony Bardirfilay, are rocking the stage! Their cowgirl and cowboy outfits match perfectly well with their industry of livestock, yet still steal the spotlight! It certainly is a relief to not see the tributes in cow costumes this year. Clothed in genuine flowers sewn closely together on a pastel pink silk dress, Savannah Jones from Eleven is definitely looking more beautiful than Vine Cotton, who is looking tangled up in the vines covering his jacket. Finally, the opening ceremonies end with a bang as the duo from Twelve emerge in costumes on fire! They probably got the idea from the 74th Hunger Games when Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark wore costumes on fire, but what does it matter? This year, their outfits are even more striking! Kitty Marie Coalton is wearing a long red gown, with red anti-fire hair extensions put on top of her hair to protect it. A golden tiara covered in golden silk set on synthetic fire has been placed on her hair. Caleb Elwood is decked out in a red suit and pants similar to Kitty's, holding a miner's pick covered in gold fabric and set on fire while wearing a non-flammable glove. They certainly are stunning! Piper Papilon's POV Announcer/Interviewer for the Death Games "The tributes today were amazing! Let's hear it for our terrific tributes once again!" I scream, enjoying the raucous cheers from the crowd. I ruffle my curly locks joyfully as I turn around to President Julian Snow, my skirt ruffling, letting him take over. He nods curtly at me, dismissing me, and rounds up the opening ceremonies. --- A/N: Sorry for there being two author notes I just needed to say something to end this chapter—I think I've got my inspiration back after solving the chariot problem I have the Games more or less planned out, and I have a winner already This is how Midnight's shorts-and-silk-sheet-combo looks like: Thank you all my loyal readers for sticking with me!

-Chapter 10- Behind The Scenes Sapphire Kayla's POV The Odair twins certainly did pull it off well this year. My trademark satin-silk material did the trick. Along with Andrew Hawk's simple-yet-elegant design for their shoes. Yes, Andrew Hawk is Daniel's stylist. I help Tiffany out of her costume as Andrew helps Daniel out of his. They have to have a good sleep tonight in order to train well tomorrow. Savannah's POV I go through every single possible question that annoying, ever-so-cheerful interviewer Piper Papilon might ask. It's crucial for me to look the most intimidating, and the wittiest. That'll score me several sponsors. Tributes, you are going down. Saori's POV I cross out the weaker tributes on my list. Both tributes from Three, Six, Ten and Twelve are out. The male from Five, the female from Nine and the male from Eleven don't look strong either. Which means there are twelve tributes to fight. I'm not allying. And neither am I dying. CalliRose Evermark's POV Mentor for Tiffany and Daniel, along with Orion Odair I slip a letter into each of the twin's rooms. They have to start with the basics—camouflage, first aid, fire-starting, knot-tying, edible plants. Return after dinner for stamina training—running on the treadmill. Then on the second day, agility training. Return after dinner for weapons training—swords, bows and arrow, spears, anything not known. They have to save the tridents for the private Gamemakers session. Auburn Amica's POV Sponsor I have tons of money, yes, that's true. But another true fact is that I have absolutely no idea who to sponsor. I'm leaning more towards Saori, Faun, and Chayse though. All three seem like potential winners.
