  13. Here is a very very VERY short update, just to bring you back to where Stephanie is. It is also a little cliffhanger 

Being in the forest at night is NEVER a good idea. Mutants, Bloodlust and vicious animals roamed around, unafraid of showing themselves. Mutants, their natural instincts telling them to stay in the forest where it is safer, are less inclined to go into the village. With bloodlusts, however, that is an entirely different matter. They had been created to kill mercilessly, no matter what circumstance. The village once tried to hunt them all down and stop this terror, but the villages men were no match for those savage beasts.

I sat in a tall tree, jumping at every noise I heard. The snap of a twig, the hoot of an owl.
The sound of my heart thumping against my chest would surely attract some animals, but all was quiet. Too quiet...

What would scare everything away? What would cause all living things, even mutants and bloodlusts, to conceal themselves? I looked around, but saw only darkness surrounding me. Something else was here. Something dangerous. Something that will make my death inevitable...
