So, if you remember, I started a story once called 'Forgotten'. I decided to redo it because it didn't get far, and I have a better idea for it Enjoy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Part 1: Daniel's light blonde hair fell down over his ear, and he took his tan hand and laid it lightly back behind his ear as he continued talking to a couple of his friends, John and Neil. John sat on top of a table, to the left of Daniel. His unusually tight shirt made his muscles show. He was incredibly fit, and, of course, my ex-boyfriend. Neil sat to Daniel's right, texting and talking at the same time. He was almost as muscular as John. He was that captain-of-the-football-team, I'm-cooler-than-you type of guy. "Han?" my best friend, Sarah, asked, putting her hands on my shoulders and shaking me back an forth. "Hannah! Snap out of it!" "W-what?" I said, blinking a few times. "Oh. Sorry." She followed my gaze to where the three guys sat talking to each other. "Ooo!" she said, clapping her hands. "Nice choice." She gave me a wink, then the bell rang. "Gotta get to class!" she said, gave me a hug, then walked off. "Bye!" I waved as she walked toward Mr. Hubbard's room. I made my way towards my first period class, weaving through the crowds of frantic students with essays and homework in their hands. "Miss Jones," my teacher, Mrs. Long said with a glare as I walked in. "You're late." "The second bell hasn't rung yet," I said through gritted teeth. Mrs. Long has been out to get me since I failed her semester exam. She opened her mouth to say something, but the ring of the second bell coursed through her room. "Sit down," she finally said. I smiled, then made my way towards my seat in the back of the room. Mrs. Long droned on and on about how history affects our lives today, and how lucky we are to live in America. It's not that I don't care, but when your teacher lectures about it for the whole class, you start to zone out. Just as I laid my head down and closed my eyes to fall into a deep sleep, the sound of a whisper jolted me up. "Hannah," Daniel whispered in a hushed tone, then handed me a piece of paper. I read it carefully, soaking in every word. Meet me after school today at the bus loading zone. Daniel I looked up at him and nodded, grinning from ear to ear. He smiled back, then turned his attention back to Mrs. Long. A billion lectures later, the bell finally rang. Once I got out of the classroom, Daniel approached me with a smirk. "So I'll see you after school?" he smiled, leaning against the lockers. I nodded, gave him a small hug, then headed to second period. Science. It went by slowly, then I headed to lunch and met up with Sarah. I told her about what happened in first period, and she squealed with delight. "I knew it would happen at some point!" she smirked. "Shut up," I gave her a light push. I was so lost in a daydream that I walked out of the lunch line without paying for my sandwich. The principal, Mr. Sanders, came up and stopped me. "Aren't you going to pay for that?" he said with a stern expression on his face. "I swear, I was going to," I said. "I was just so lost in thought-" "Well, then maybe you can continue that thought in detention after school... TODAY." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Oh snap. Isn't she supposed to meet Daniel?
The character remind me of some of my classmates and people from Sports camp: Hannah(character reminds me of a drama classmate) Daniel (character reminds me of a former P.E classmate) Neil (character reminds me of a person from sports camp) And then well John(character reminds me of a drama classmate, who is an 8th grader this year)
