Before I begin, A quick note. This is sorta like a story I wrote under the name Simply_Fox. But I'm starting over. I missed everyone so I came back. :3 Love, Fox ---- Chapter 1: Down the hall Part one The wheels were silent, perhaps that's why I never heard him coming. I didn't hear him until he spoke. "Hey, um, I think we are locker buddies," his voice was deep but came from below me. I was startled; I was the shortest girl in eighth grade at a mere four foot eleven. When I turned around and saw a sandy-haired kid in a wheel chair, I stared. Mouth open. Books in hand. The whole sha-bang. After a full minute I managed to speak, not takin my eyes off the seat plastered with band logos. "Oh, hi, I'm Arielle, but call me Fox. Your new aren't you?" He smiled what I would begin to call a Steve smile, something crooked and warm. "I'm Steve, and I am new here," he pitched his voice so it hit me right in my left ear.
Yesh Sallyy I am and thanks people. I'll update after I figure out all the cool new crap on this iPod. I wanted an old first gen. like usual but nooooo =_=
I smiled. I couldn't help it. Those pearly white teeth and full lips made a smile contagious. "Well class starts in ten minutes. Do you need help or anything? The campus is rather large..." I trailed off. My school's campus was ridiculously big. Close to a mile if you feel the need to walk from the science lab above the baseball fields to the middle school art room at the edge of the parking lot. And that's if you take the shortcuts across the fields. How was Steve gonna manage? Kids there were spoiled. They didn't know how to handle differences. "I just need help with my schedule," he reached up with a yellow paper. I scanned it quickly, muttering the class names we had together, "Science, Advanced Art, Algebra, Art Club, Drama." I looked up, or do I mean down?, from the paper. "Looks like we have about half of today's classes together."
Violet. Do I know a violet have you changed your name??? And thanks. Once I figure out who you are I'll admit to missing you too :3
"That's good, it might take me a minute to get used to this place," Steve reached around me and began to gather his stuff for science. I waited, thinking about how the heck he was gonna get up the hill. Our science teacher was horribly cruel (not really but we say he was). The joke was Elfy, as we called him, choose the classroom at the highest point on campus on purpose. An excuse to give us demerits and not to be seen at lunch. Steve was out the door before I caught up, taking nothing but a pen. "Where's your books?" I point to my head, "In here."
