  1. For the next few days, I will be in an ROTC officers training summer camp. I thought I would give you guys some insight in what it is, and what I'll be doing.

Each member of our Leadership company will be switching rules, from Squad member, to Squad Leader, to Platoon Sergeant, to Platoon Leader, to Company XO, First Sergeant, Company Commander.. The whole deal, every person will be able to experience what each persons function is within the company so they can work well together.

We will be participating in team building exercises like litter carries, team running exercises, relays, tug of war, marching, drill and ceremony, inspection, organized and unorganized PT, and survival.

Go to bed late, wake up early. PT in the morning, PT at night, fun in the middle.

Thought I would share that with you guys. :)
Have any of you guys actually been to a Camp like this, or are in ROTC, or even JROTC?
