All I see is plain boring school romances that start like this— "MY NAME IS — AND I HAVE SHINY WAVY BLONDE HAIR BIG BLUE EYES I LOVE PEOPLE AND AM KIND BUT I HATE THEM AND IS MEAN TO THEM IF THEY ARE MEAN TO ME. I AM ALSO THE MOST POPULAR—" Are you frickin' serious? Nice, and mean?! What kind of STORY, IS THAT? Newsflash. Contradiction. Immediately puts me off and I go back staring at the iPhone in my hand that contains all my unfinished works. And then I wonder, how come these kind of stories get so many likes and I'm left with broken chapters of original stories? Oh, maybe there aren't enough blondes. Oh, maybe the character's not popular enough. Oh, maybe I write terribly. And no, I'm not a conceited fool who just thinks about herself, I wonder about those potential stories so far back like in pg 5—10! The problem? You're lacking originality, and yet you say, 'If I have TEN MORE BUMPS I'LL CONTINUE!' when you're already the first story on the front page or already have six readers telling you to go on, while nowadays I'm stuck with a few readers who I try to entertain but am CONSTANTLY put off by how some people complain about not having enough good stories while there are a shit ton of them! -- I'm not even going to waste my breath ranting. Just consider what I said, and instead of saying 'I AGREE' or 'I DISAGREE', give me an actual opinion on the matter. Is it really that hard? -- If you don't mind, I'd like to put everything of mine into a three month hiatus. Did I mention that those exact stories have numerous grammatical mistakes even after some people try to correct them? And what's funny is that they used sophisticated words yet they don't understand what a period is. *facedesk*
My story sucks, I admit. I don't even know why people like it. It's a common high school romance. ._. it was just inspired by random movies I put in together. But I thank them for liking it. And Under The Covers, Blink Of An Eye; those are very good stories. I just died when I read those. And I suck at my grammar. .__.
I worded that part wrong. .-. school clichés are okay. I don't mind them being cliché, I like a bit of cheese in my stories. But... seriously, if there's too much, I lose my appetite.
My stories are school romance it's only cause I'm still in high school but.... There are actually really good stories that no one reads.
Yeah, there are many crappy stories in FF now. That's why I live in Wattpad. 8( I constantly wait for updates from SensualPie/MommaPie/PieSexual (Imani!!), TheAndi, you, Katie, and Eliza02. I also try to update my story. But I'll admit my story doesn't have as much originality as the above authors, mine's based off the Hunger Games.
I love TheAndi's stories. It just makes me want to throw my phone away. Ever since my first post, I had admitted that my story sucked. But, I don't know why I posted it. I just wanted to share it, I guess.
Yes. I am sick and tired of when I write thing looooooooooong feedback and critique, they either a.) ignore it b.) say oh okay, then totally disregard it in their next update. COME ON. And please. The whole 'if I get twenty bumps I'll continue' excuse me, but did someone forget to tell you that that's not the point of Fan Fic? You're supposed to write stories, be inspired. This isn't a popularity game on who gets the most bumps. If you're story's good, it's good, and people will bump. If it's bad, people will give critique and YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO IMPROVE. And if it's good, and no one will bump, then don't stop right there. In case you haven't noticed, there are OTHER stories here, and some of them are actually pretty good. I'm not in a good mood now, so don't mind if I rage. By the way, thanks Tiffy and Eli.

I don't write stories. I'm really good thought. I won first place in my schools writing contest. But I stop myself from writing because FF is to crowd. And I agree some of this story don't really belong on FF. they have bad grammar, poor chosen topics, and are so predictable. BTW Eli your story is good. Do you think that party and I would spam for 10 pages if it wasn't. Andi, also a fan of your stories too. They make me jump around and I get funny looks. all in all of your writing on FF and you're new to it I'm not saying stop, I'm just saying at least take the critique. Whether you're story is as awesome as Andi's or is so bad, that in the food chain it's rite under. And don't worry I'm not saying this cuz I'm a sheep

My thoughts on the matter are simple. People who do not know how to write that well, should in fact write. Why? Because they should listen to our advice, and get better. I'm all for helping people! As for originality, the stories on here are crappy, except for the ones you mentioned. Even mine probably is crappy. And these school romances are over done! The character is always highly attractive, popular, pretty much perfect. It's quite repetitive and boring. I stopped writing romance. I was sick of it. As for the original stories, I love them! And this incest crap is just sick! I don't care about your incest fetishes, but it's just wrong people! It's also overdone. It's been done so many times, and people are so desperate for attention, they follow the popular strain of stories. Be original and creative! One last thing about grammar. Are all the new writers uneducated? Have you ever seen a story without spaces after periods, commas, exclamation marks, or question marks? Or without punctuation in quotations? Have you ever seen a story without capitalization? Another thing new writers do is abbreviate everything! U does not mean you. You means you. And simple things like you're and your, or their, there, and they're are common mistakes. I can take these mistakes, and help. But when people don't listen it's very aggravating. I haft to be belligerent about it just to get them to learn. It's quite sad. I don't mean to offend anyone. If you want to write, write. If someone offers help for mistakes, take it! Don't think that you're too perfect to make mistakes, because you aren't. That is all.
Hahaha! Adam, I got you! High school romance is boring to people who is done with it. But it still fascinates the girls who is in love with love. So, I don't know... If my story is boring, I don't really give a . I love writing romance. It's for me to get out the heartbreak I always feel and the only thing I can do... is write about it. I completely understand where you are coming from but I have to make a point. (before I start I DONT WANT ANY ARGUMENTS) When I said there were too many of one kind of story a while back, I took a lot of crap for it. Everyone told me "everyone can write what they want to write." After that whole incident, I have learned to adapt to that. Now I don't like these stories any more than you do, but I say instead of suggesting that we stop writing them, how about you just don't read them. Just an opinion, and you don't have to agree with me. Just thought I would share.
