A New Year Becca's Pov "mhmm, sure, I'll be back" I said giving iris a goofy look as I got up and walked away. "where are you going?!. Where is she goin?!?" I heard her say but I just smiled and kept walking. I walked up to the counts and got in line. There was only about two ppl in line. They were seated and I went up to the counter, "hey, I'm becca, iris' friend" I said as I leaned up to the counter "hi, but I'm working I can't talk" he replied a bit hesitant "ok, when's you're break?" "oh and I'll take a cookie, k thanks" I said as I winked and smiled. "i actually get off in about 20 minutes" he replied "Kay, we're at table 7, come visit" I said as I smiled and walked back to our table.
Cora's Pov Iris and becca were talking about boys, usually I'd be all over this type of conversation, but this burger and fries was heavenly. I tried to use as much manners as possible when eating a burger this good, but my fellow delicious-burger eating-people understand how incredibly HARD that is. "where Is she goin?!" iris said that broke me from my delicious burger "hmm, what? Oh I don't even try to keep track of her, just wait and she'll come back" "eventually.......after doing something evil" I thought to myself without saying it out loud. These fries are fried to the perfect degree and this burger!!, its just so good, every ingredient is at its perfect stage!! I kept thinking. Usually I'm not the one to be all about fast food, but lately I've been trying to eat a little healthier, salads, less soda, etc. but this, this burger! It just ruined my bodies chances of being healthy. "I'll never leave you" I thought To myself again.
iris' pov "good, she's comin back" I said as I found becca in the crowd walking towards our table. "where did you go" "you'll find out shortly" she replied with an innocent smile. We'd finished our food but we're just sitting around when Becca randomly smiled while resting her chin on her hand. "why are you smiling like that?" I said as I messed with my hair to see if it was messed up. "oh nothing, deary" she replied still smiling ear to ear as she peaked at her watch. "now you're just scaring me" I replied. "hey guys!" jaco said outta the blue. "hey jaco! Take a seat!" becca said as she tried to look surprised, while smiling sarcastically. "hi jaco! Nice to meet you" Cora said as she wiped her mouth. "hello Cora, it's nice to meet you too" he said as he tipped his head and smiled at her. "and hello to you too, miss iris" he added "hiiieyy..." I said like a mentally challenged patient. "haven't seen you in two or three days, and that's saying something cause we take two classes together" he replied while grinning. "oh, I've been busy and I don't know what to tell ya bout the classes, I sure wasn't the one skipping" I said as I began to think mom hasn't told him anything.
No offense, but it could use more work. Instead of "I found parking" try "I pulled my old car into the parking lot, scanning row after row until I finally found a parking space for me"
