my best friend is autistic, but he tells me he has been trying to beat it since he was a child... its actually hard to believe he is, he actually acts very normal and intellectual. Its interesting how some things can be beaten.
I don't think he's really "beating" Autism. Autism has several forms and stages. It affects people in many different ways. You have mild to severe. I think many times some people automatically assume that because one may have a mental illness or medical illness, that person lacks Intelligence. However, some studies find that many have high IQs but without proper testing and guidance the label is wrong. An example is Dyslexia. I think many people young and old should start becoming more aware of these things and catch the signs early. What I mean is be proactive and educate others like the thread author. Note to Parents: Pay more attention and get tests. Never take the word of anybody as it is set in stone. Never hesitate about getting a second opinion. Also, if your child is 1 yr old and is not walking or talking kid mumbo jumbo, get an evaluation immediately.
I have a neighbor with Autism, but I know nothing about the disease. The funny thing Is if I had to guess, I'd think it would make somebody less social and more shy. He's certainly not misbehaved
My brother has autism, he's in the fourth grade. He is probably going to be the next steve jobs, (He made a psp into an IPhone etc) You don't even deserve a rant OP.
Blockey autism Can act in many different ways... The autist i know is SUPER social but still a bit wierd And btw it's not called disease when it's "included" brain damage... (i think?)
