Hey, Just want to say thank you thunder for all the help you have given me! But I am looking for a new pupil that is strong, active, will want to talk to me in TC and pm and that will also help get strong my doing volleys, stripping or giving advice. Thanks
I had a tutor once who asked the same thing. He did not realize until he had a new pupil that the money we use to strip dead or war tutors and the money we used to give drop volleys doesn't come from someone helping us, but our real life bank acct. Thunderbolt69 is one of the most generous players in this game, and I was lucky to own him for several months. When he t4bc, instead of building his cash, he spend his money -- real money -- building up tutors and helping them in BC, and then in fireside. Helping the small ones until they got their feet under them, understood the game, etc. He taught them to fish and gave them a starter kit, as it were. Eggplant, you know I love my nubbies, but you are advanced enough now to play with the big boys. The advice thing, I'm sure, Bry can help with, but you don't need handouts or coddling. Your pupil taught you how to play this game, and if he didn't, your ex-club owner jman SURELY did. Use those skills. There are players who ascribe to the "give a man a fish" method. I know of one who will "give a man a fish until he can't eat anymore and waddles around like a penguin." But that generosity usually comes with expectations. So, be mindful. Bry's the best. I miss him everyday in my tc. But, good luck with your next pupil.
Selfish , ungrateful and unappreciative. He helped you do much and all you do is want a better tutor. He spends his real life money while you sit here and slack of waiting for cash to roll in. Despicable being
I don't think eggplant is despicable. I DO think he doesn't appreciate how rare a pupil he already has. I also think that this should have been solved privately -- you want new pupil, Bry stops bumping you, you sell. No muss, no fuss. I understand wanting a new pupil. But you can't go up from Bry - they don't make em like that anymore.
I have an awesome pupil.. She taught me just like she taught Bry. When I first met Bry he was always there to help me and still is. I no longer look to my pupil for handouts and haven't for a long time now .. Instead I look for noobs to help them and build them. I have been doing that since I was around 20kcs. It's time for you to step up and help the new player. I'm sure Bry will still be willing to help you but like me won't dump every hard earned dollar he makes into one tut... Don't forget he has other tuts to help. Just my 2 cents
My thoughts on this is, that if someone wants to help you they will. And as Abby said most/all lcbc use real cash to help people and I always ask this question to the players that beg me for help - "would you use your real money to help people earn cash for upgrades or strip people and drop worthless tuts?" 50% of the time they say no. The other 49.99% are lying. I understand that some players can't buy credits for certain reasons but It's up to your pupil or friends if they want to help you or not. Pupils aren't there to help their tutors. It's their choice if they do or not. Keep farming. Do jobs to earn cash and extra credits. Or buy credits yourself if you can afford them. You can't always rely on others to better yourself.
I know Abby is an awesome pupil. Ive been lucky to have some of the best in the game (I've stated several times that I completely adore my pupil), but I've never asked nor expected them to spend their cash to help me. If anyone helps then its an unexpected bonus as should be gratefully received. I have a new tut who is awesome at finding new actives, he searches them out daily. He then max vollies with other tuts or my club members and I hire at the end. Win/win. I get an active tut, they get free cash. I've only recently picked up active tuts so just started getting to know them and trying to help. I'm not a rich player and rl cash is not an option but I'll do what I can to help where I can.
I quite like the idea that mag had about being able to send cash instead of drop volleying. How many randoms would show up on your wall to say 'please can I have some of your money?' may be a deterrent to beggars and a way to help those who deserve it as well as being a lot quicker.
