FOOD REVIEW: Thai Mango Salad - Episode Two - Sawadee krub! It is a always a pleasure to review foods from another part of the world. Today's amazing delicacy brings us to Thailand, where the people are known for their hospitality and graciousness! This is a salad that has spiciness, tanginess, sweetness and saltiness all rolled into a meal! Definitely a burst of favors from the very first bite to the last! Of course, the main ingredient to this delicious dish is green unripe mango shredded into thin strips. Who can resist the sour-sweet yumminess of this awesome fruit! Then add juicy red onions and cooling cucumbers also thinly sliced, into the bowl. Mix them well with the fragrant Thai fish sauce and freshly squeezed Thai lime juice, tossed with some chewy small baby shrimps and who can forget the ever-popular finely chopped peanuts! Just one last ingredient for the magic to be incorporated together is the super-duper spicy chili padi (bird's eye chili) for that tongue-numbing sensation we all crave! Total sadomasochism, indeed! Now, enjoy your fantastically yummiliciously mouth-watering and tear-inducing Thai Mango Salad! Welcome to the Land of a Thousand Smiles! And, of course, a thousand tears! Bon appetit! =) Yours Truly, Brother_Matt Chill! Have a Bento Set!
