  13. *Depending on the structure of the Vocabulary, Grammar and Spelling.

  14. ^that's some of the most important things you need.

Also, is to update frequently. Readers don't like a hanging story! But if you do have some kind of reason why you can't update (i.e. vacation, sickness, studies, etc,) then inform the readers ahead so they know what they're in for!

Next, use paragraph and punctuation. I've seen many stories lacking paragraphs (especially between convos) and it is especially hard to read. And punctuation is important to know the tone of the person, etc. Don't forget that BB coding sometimes emphasizes the seriousness of the situation or the exasperated tone.

Lastly, and if not the most important, have a decent and mind-blogging storyline. Keep the readers excited. Once someone's storyline is finished, bring in a new character! Keep a surprise at every corner. And if you're planning on doing romance, don't extend the lovey-dovey scenes too much to the extent that almost all your updates are people yelling, "I love you", "No, I love you more," and all that jazz.

Oh, and don't forget descriptive words. Description gives the reader a more vivid view of the scene.

    G'luck! 
