Gay means happy. Homosexual means homo means same and sexual means having to do with sex, or gender in this case. "Same sex" indicating preferences in a romantic nature. Gay originally means happy, but has been recently used to describe a homosexual man because they tend to be more feminine as they would be if they were heterosexual. But I dislike it because not only is that not always true, but also because it has become a derogatory term. So you yourself saying gay guys, not including homosexual women, means that you want joyous males to talk on here.
