Guys, just so you know, Start of Something Good by HollyS has been remade and she will be updating soon!
Alright, here it is! After almost a week, here is the update! Rob's POV It'll be weird without Cammy and Cara and Josh and all of my friends. My family doesn't talk, look, or stand in the same room as me. They just look away or walk away. So I spend all my time in my room. Just sitting there on my laptop or listening to music. I looked on Facebook, Twitter, and chatting games. Almost everyone unfriended me on Facebook, unfollowed me on Twitter, and no one would speak to me on the chatting games. Fine, I thought, I'll just make new friends. But it wasn't that easy. I tried talking to people, but they seemed to want nothing to do with me. I added random people and all declined my friend requests. Finally, I shut down my laptop and listened to music on my iPod. I was listening to "I Like It Like That" when I heard a pounding on my door and saw a note being slid under it. I walked over and read the note. It said, "Rob, it's time for dinner. It's outside your door." I opened my door and saw my dinner sitting there. I picked it up and walked back inside. I shut the door and started eating. Them I heard a knock on the door. I walked up and opened it, seeing my little 7 year old sister, Miri. "Hello, Robby," she greeted me with a smile. "Hey, Miri. How are you?" I picked her up and brought her in my room. When I shut my door I sat her down on my bed. "Good, why are you in here alone?" she asked curiously. I shrugged. "No one seems to want to see me." "I do, Robby." "Then what do you want to do?" I asked happily. "Well..." she started. Then we went to her room and played with her dolls for hours. She wouldn't stop playing. "Time to go to bed, Miri," my mother called as she walked in. She stopped abruptly when she saw me. "Oh, you," was all she said as she walked out. "Well, Miri, time for bed," I said ruefully. "But I don't wanna," Miri frowned. "Miri," I frowned, "you have to go to bed." "No!" she yelled. I sighed. Just like old times. I picked her up and took her to the bathroom to brush her teeth. She accepted finally that she had to do as I said. She brushed her teeth and dressed into her pjs. As I left when she was under the covers she said, "Don't go! Read me a bedtime story!" I smiled and picked a random book from the pile behind her. I started reading The Princess and the Pea to her. When I finished and I was sure she was asleep, I walked to the door and shut off the light. "I missed you, Robby," I heard a small whisper say. "I missed you too," I replied in a soft whisper. "Good night, Miri." "Good night, Robby." I walked out leaving her door ajar. As I walked to my room I wondered if everyone was going to forgive me. I got on Facebook again and put something meaningful to everyone as my status. Then I yawned and got ready for bed. As I was falling asleep, I thought about the words I posted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We all missed Rob, right?
I want you guys to read, if you haven't already, my other story The Arena. And if you liked the Hunger Games books, you might like that.
