  1. "...so not everyone can see you?"
"nope. Only other angels and people I had special connections with. Family too I guess..."
Tom and Casey were sitting on the couch having a long conversation. Tom filled her in on everything that had happened after his death. I sat there, listening. I already knew almost everything he told her. But i listened anyway, the sound of toms voice soothing to my ears. Now I had Tom back, I never wanted to let him go. But would it ever be the same? I began to doubt it. He was dead. Dead. I have known that for years. I accepted he was gone, but now he is back again how should I react? Does he want me to reestablish our relationship? Part of me thinks it's not possible to do that. How can you have a dead boyfriend? The idea sort of scared me. Tom is here, breathing. Living, but not alive. No matter what, he will always be dead, dead, dead.

  7. 4:30pm. Monday. Time for rowing training with Casey. We were in the changing rooms when Emily and poppy walked in. "hey guys!"
Said poppy. Poppy was always optimistic. When I was sad, she could always cheer me up to some extent. Meanwhile, Emily was more interested in practical jokes than feelings. She gave Casey some perfume to use. Casey, being as trusting as she is, ended up with paint splattered all over her face. Emily gave me a high five and started getting changed. I loved rowing. Not just for the people, but for the sport. It was a great distraction from things. I can't cry and row at the same time, which is good. Me and Casey finished changing and walked outside. While Casey was wiping the remainder of paint off of her, she asked me quietly: "so Tash, are you going to tell Tom about Alex?" Speak of the devil. Before I had time to reply, the Alex came up to me.
