Mwahahaha! True story based on me and my future husband Thomas Irvine Alexander Ingram omg how lame am I?? ~~~~~~~<><><>~~~~~~~<><><>~~~~~~~ FIRST MEETING ---------------------- It was my first year... at West Kildonan Collegiate. I was nervous as I had just moved from a completely different part of the city. I knew no one at the school and I could feel myself trembling as I held my binder close to my chest. "Welcome!" said a man at the door. I assumed he was the principal... Mr.Cour... Was it? "Thank you..." I said quietly. As I walked along, I found myself unable to walk back to the front doors... Had I really gotten lost? Impossible... I looked down different hallways but couldn't see anything familiar. "Band room..." I said quietly. I read the sign in front of a large double door. I had played the clarinet, tenor sax, french horn and flute during middle school. Any band room was my sanctuary. "There's still time..." I whispered and opened the door. As I entered I noticed two boys and one girl. The girl had long red hair and blue eyes. She smiled at me. There was one boy that sat with her. He was short and had messy brown hair and stubble on his baby face. He grinned at me. "Hello!" he said. "H-hi..." I said quietly. My eyes shifted towards the corner of the room. A tall and lean boy with dark hair and bright grey eyes stood by all the instruments. He was unpacking a clarinet. "Tommy!" shouted the red haired girl. The dark haired boy turned and looked to where the girl was. While doing so his eyes met mine for a split second. "Oh..." I whispered. I felt my face grow hot. Ah... "Yeah...?" he asked. His voice was low and rather quiet. "That girl, she looks nervous! We should help her out a little," said the girl. "Why should I?" I felt somewhat taken aback. How little interest could someone possibly show towards someone they haven't even met. "Don't be rude!" she snapped. She looked back at me. "Hello. I'm Vanessa Sikora, I'm a senior here. I'm also student council president, if you need anything, just ask." I smiled. "Kyle Monkman," said the other guy. "I'm a senior too, and king of the bandroom." "Like hell you are!" shouted Vanessa. "Shut up! Nobody likes you flutists." I laughed a little. The two entertained me. I was beginning to reconsider my new found hatred for the school. "Tommy." I looked towards the dark haired boy. He merely raised an eyebrow before turning back to his clarinet. "His name's Thomas Irvine Alexander Ingram!" giggle Vanessa. "He's a senior and a total loser!" "Mind your own business!" snapped Tommy. "Tommy, lighten up! You know I'm kidding!" she laughed. She turned to me. "Sorry, Kyle, Tommy and I have known each other since kindergarten, we're really good friends." "Yep," said Kyle. I smiled. "That's nice." "I forgot to ask... What's your name?" asked Vanessa. "Katie... Katie Shute. I'm in grade nine," I said meekly. "Aww! My brother and Tommy's brother are in your grade. If an Andrew Sikora or an Ian Ingram are in any of your classes... Ha! Those are our brothers!" laughed Vanessa. "Oh cool... Maybe I'll make friends..." I began. "Never mind..." "You should! You seem like a nice girl!" I blushed. "Haha.. thanks..." "Vanessa!" I jumped. I turned around to see and blonde girl with dark green eyes and a really tall boy with light hair and hazel eyes. "Kristen!" shouted Vanessa. "Oh... Who's this?" asked the tall guy. He was looking at, a friendly smile spread across his face. "I'm Katie Shute," I said quietly. "Nice to meet you, I'm Michael Kowalyshyn," he said. "And I'm Kristen Inacio," said the girl. She grinned. "Are you a band geek like us?" "I play the flute... mostly," I said. "Me too!" she said. "Both me and Vanessa do. I'm in grade eleven by the way, and so is Michael." "I'm in grade nine." "Well I hope you enjoy it here," she said and she smiled. "Thank you." "Hey." I felt my heart jump. I looked towards Tommy. He didn't look at me and continued arranging his books. "Yeah..?" "If you go down the stairs just out the doors, and turn left... You'll get to the front doors," he said and he looked up to meet my eyes. "Th-thank you," I stuttered and quickly excused myself. My face burned of heat. I had never gotten this kind of reaction towards someone before... Had I really just fallen in love with Tommy Ingram...? ~~~~~~~<><><>~~~~~~~<><><>~~~~~~~ Lol...
