If you are going to do that then you might as well just go from T3 to T5 Lets say you have all T3 seniors. For each senior you replace with a T4 freshman, you gain 568 cs and spend 600m. If you get all T4 freshmen then you are spending 19.2b for only 18k cs.
Wait I already proved that there's no reason to have more than one T4 freshmen. If you want any T4 at all before buying T5, they better all be T4 level 4. Otherwise, you better have all T3 level 4. You can consider having a few t4 level 4 before buying t5 but there is no reason to have more than one t4 freshman ever under any circumstances. It's always better to upgrade a T4 than to buy another T4 freshman.
I am replacing each T5 for T4 like you said not to .-. before i saw this thread. I wanted to stay stats as close to my farm as possible, so I not get too huge for it, if you know what I mean. In these times there are very few farms that have T5, so it is best stay close I think until you have no choice. But I do not see how this is more efficient to go all the way to level 4.
T4 lvl 4 just gives more stats for its cost than a T4 lvl 1. In other words as opposed to buying multiple T4 lvl1, it's better to get the T4 up to lvl 4 instead.
There is also no reason to buy a T4 if you are going to keep it level 1 and then replace with T5. In that case it's better to just place a T5 over a T3.
Are you insisting a straight shit replacement? As in... When you replace a crew for something, T2 senior for example, you pay the entire 130 mil for a T3 senior at once?
For T2 to T3 you want to replace all T2 seniors with all T3 freshmen. Then you want to replace each T3 freshman with a senior one by one. For T3 to T4 you replace a T3 senior with a senior with a T4 freshman and make it senior before starting on next. For T4 to T5 you replace a T4 senior with a T5 freshman and then make it senior before buying next T5. The only exception is if you want to get T5 early at which point you would skip T4 entirely and start with T5, making a senior one by one. There is no reason under any circumstances to have more than one T4 freshman or T5 freshman at the same time. Those tiers are way more cost efficient at senior. It is mathematically proved.

No becuz with t4 if u upgrade a t4 to lvl4 when it's lvl 1 u don't get plunder I know cuz u did this but didnt see it n that's no way how u upgrade u got it all wrong
never upgrade t4 crew beyond junior (level3). it's a waste of cash for little to no plunder bonus I advise going from t4 lvl2 to t5 lvl1. the plunder bonuses for t5 crew far outweigh upgrading any t4 crew. especially once all the t3s are replaced just sayin. might wanna rethink strategy. lol cheers bob
I agree that the plunder difference from level 3 to level 4 isn't much. (for me it decreased at first. But went back up) but 1.2 bil (which I think is the cost to upgrade level 3 to level 4) isn't very much. I have all my t4's at senior, because it'll be a while until they're all t5. So the 1.2 bil will still play for itself. Plus the boost in stats until then is worth it alone.
Bob, that is exactly what I am doing have not made any level 3 T4, I did not even get all level 2 T4
4 t5s 2 lvl 2 im in the process of making of my t4s lvl 2 then converting to t5s and upgrading them after convert all
I'm just getting t4 bc and I've got like 19 so far and I get 10m per hit on my farm. I would recommend getting all T4's lvl 1 before upgrading all. It's more efficient because plunder goes up a lot just from having a T4. What a waste going from leveling one to 4 then going to the next. So much harder to save IMO.
