Wedding Heart

  1. The sound keeps repeating itself.
The pitter-patter of my heart kept getting faster.
My words turned into stutters and my glasses fogged up in frustration, trying to concentrate.
I've removed my glasses three times now, attempting not to cry from all the happiness.
Getting along with him wasn't hard, nor was it horrible.
    We got along just fine.
Wickedly enough, he knew how to piss me off, then again I just don't care about him pissing me off, I just care about talking with him.
My shoulder length brown hair fell down as I refused to put it in a bun like my mother said I should have.
    ---------------------------

Another day, another drama. Now it was a wedding. I was once again, the junior bridesmaid.
He was some kinda best man or somethin. I don't pay attention to that stuff.
Eventually my mother was curious before the wedding started.
My eyes went crazy trying to scan him, and eventually he noticed me staring.
I pushed my glasses up the bridge of my nose, and turned away to face my mother.
"Are you staring at James?...." my mom asked me.
    Trying-*Twitch* so hard-*Twitch* Not to strangle her-*Twitch*.
The wedding was in the church, that's how they wanted it.
I stood in my place, then I stole a glance to see who I was walking with.
What the hell. I can swear he moved from his original spot.
My mother growled lowly, and he was eavesdropping.
"Nebraska," she hissed. "Put your hair back up right now."
    " Now ?"
    "Yes, Now."
I groaned and put the little bun in my hair again. It really pissed me off that I was forced to have my hair like this.

The dresses were real pretty, I have to admit.
The main color on them was blue, and the bow around our waists were jade.
I kind of giggled when I glanced over at him again. It was another one of my habits.
I scratched my hand and tapped my foot not to run around screaming.
    I do have issues.
No, I don't have ADHD, but my sister does.
More or less, my family is really weird. Well, sorta.
My aunt was getting married to my to-be uncle.
Who happens to be James's step-father.
*Twitch* Neigh. He won't really be my cousin then, right?
    Yeah. I'll be fine somehow.
    Oh dear, here it is.
Well, at least there's something to do after this.....

  2. Mother's POV~

Nebraska was on a mission to make me jump off a bridge.
She was staring at her new-to-be cousin, James.
    Oh lord.
I had to tell Nebraska it was his step-father.
It didnt make any sense whatsoever to tell her that. She probably was racking her brain trying to figure how it was possible.
    Oh well, another distraction.
Interesting story about him and Janie, my sister.
I watched Nebraska take her hair out of the bun, then I got pissy.

"Nebraska Jill-" I started, then my eyes flickered to where she was staring.
    She was staring at James...Again.
It's going to be impossible to get her out of the trance.
I whacked her arm, and she turned around.
    "Yes mom?" she groaned.
"Put your hair back up in the bun." I growled lowly. James was probably eavesdropping being the little devil he is.

Well, I hear wedding bells and it's about to start.
Let's hope nothing is defective, shall we?

  4. Nebraska POV~

I pushed my glasses up, red in the face as I walked beside him. I couldn't do anything.
At the end of the aisle, I parted from him, and awkwardly walked to my position.
As my Auntie Jan said her vows, I began to cry.
My new-to-be Uncle Alfred said his vows and James smirked at me.
I just stood there awkwardly when the priest said, 'You may kiss the bride.'
I was Morman, so I didn't really get the whole Christian thing.

I stared at the ground. He was still laughing at me.
Everyone stood up and clapped or either cried.
I awkwardly started walking, grabbing my book bag off the chair thing.
I felt a poke on my back and I didn't turn around.
    Another poke.
    And another.
    I snapped my head around.
    "What-Oh."
I shut up automatically and kept waking.
He poked me again and I started twitching.
"Stop. poking. Me." I growled, elbowing him.
I can't believe I'm going to be in the same car with him. e.e
I pulled my dress with me into the Sequoia, and I sat all the way in the back with James and my step-sister.
Yet again, I was in the middle of them both.
I'm always in the middle when I'm in this car.
I read Eclipse in silence until my sister started running her mouth.
Where's the duck tape? Rope anyone?
My sister started jabbering about before the wedding,"Hey,hey James. Nebraska was staring at you the whhhooolleeee timeeee." she said.

I twitched not to slap the silly freak across the face.
"Oh really?" he asked , getting this sly look on his face.
I groaned and sank deeper into my seat.
I would probably die-"Nebraska Jill Sullivan! Sit up please!"
I groaned and sat up, reading.
"Yes really." my sister said, smirking at me.
    That pissed me off too.
I whacked her on the head with my book, and hissed.
James's face had a satisfactory smile on his face. He pulled me into an awkward sitting hug.
    "I'm reading right now, James."
"Well, screw Twighlight. Give me a hug."
"No. I will not give you a freaking hug."

  7. Mother's POV~

I got in the car, running my head. Now we had a reception.
Janie told us to take James, and she would meet us there.
My son and my boyfriend's son sat in the middle seats of the car. I forced Capri, Nebraska and James to sit in the far back. I could hear all of their conversation.
Nebraska was reading Twighlight, like the little bookworm she is. James was pulling her closer.
Nebraska was glaring at me, knowing I could see it. James squished her in a hug, and she was twitching.
Capri was laughing to death, watching as Nebraska's nose bled and her glasses fogged up.
Capri covered her eyes, laughing and holding a tissue out of Nebraska.

Capri has ADHD, which makes her normal as any other human. Except she acts really stupid for age 9.
Korben and Dominic are more mature even though they're 8.
Gah, this will be a long drive....
    -------
    Nebraska POV~

I'm on the verge of strangling James with my hair tie and kicking Capri out of the car.
"Nein!" I growled, and pushed him.
He laughed and breathed against my neck, and crimson colored liquid was running down my face.
"Dominic, Nebraska needs another tissue!" Capri said, reaching her arm over the seat.
She shoved the white paper in my face and tilted my head so I stated at the roof of the car.

  8. Bump -wegee stare-

  9. Mother POV~

By the time we got to the reception, I think Nebraska probably fainted of blood loss.
I swear, I'm not putting that boy or Nebraska in the same car again.
Nebraska groaned and kicked James with her heel because he wasn't moving.
    ----------

    Nebraska POV~

My heel hit James' leg as I growled.
    "Wake up, dummy."
He groaned, which was probably a No .
I growled and climbed over him, probably crushing him with my knees. Oh well.
Capri was laughing by the time I got out of the car and I was pissy.
I held my Eclipse book in my arms, considering I don't dance.
I was pretty tired, and I would probably pass out.
I walked slowly across the parking lot, hoping something went wrong or it
    Was cancelled.
    I was wrong, as usual.
I sank in my chair, reading a conversation between Edward and Bella about James and Victoria.
    About Victoria chasing her.
James leaned over my shoulder, barely reading the first page.
"EWWWW. Twighlight." he said, rolling his eyes.
"What about Eclipse? " I said, glancing up and I Continued to read.
"It's...Eh. It's horrible, more or less."
"Less horrible, it's amazing." I growled.
He rolled his eyes, still reading over my shoulder.
I growled, my braces cutting my lip as I spoke angrily,"Why. Are. You. Still. Reading?"
"I dunno." he said, as if he wasn't awake.
I flicked him in the face, pushing my glasses up the bridge of my nose.
    "Ow!" he groaned.
My mom glared at me from across the table, "Nebraska Jill! Be nice!"
I hissed and kicked sideways, kicking James' ankle.
"Fuck off." I muttered to him, still reading.
    "Psssh." he smirked, leaning closer.
"I'm going to choke you in your sleep." I growled, my face turning red.
"You don't have the heart Nebraska." he said, touching my arm.
