Fears From Hell

  1. I changed. Fur stretched over my back, my ears pulled up, and sat on top of my head. My nose lengthened in to a snout, as a tail stretched out behind me. Bones changed, clicking into place. I looked down at my paws, noting my furs burnt sand color and I licked my lips, looked up at the moon and howled. My brothers and sisters howled with me. I could talk to them, and no-one could hear. I was fed up of this. I wanted it to be over, I wanted Logan.
    Badly.
'Bretheren!' I growled, padding across the leaves.
'We save our fellow nation. A nation of dark!'
They gasped, some growled and others backed away.
'They are still us, He made them beside us! I love one, the one we are to save.'
I stopped, and stared coldly at the pack.
'I called upon you for your help. We are strong and many, and you may do my bidding, or cower away!'
I stood, high on a rock, and faced down at the hairy persons that stood before me.
    'For the Nation of Light!'
    We charged.

  5. I ran through the dark halls, looking at the light escaping under doors, sniffing the air for some kind of scent of Logan. I always had a small trace, a tiny trace, but the air was never choked with his smell. Oh God, how I love that smell. We used to laugh about how I used to nearly always smell of cinnamon and cookies,-as they were Logan's favourite food, cinnamon rolls and cookies, so I used to make them for him- and how he just reeked of that heavy duty -I've-just-played-soccer-for-six-hours stench.
Oh god, I must stop, the memories, they are hurting...
'Logan, I will find you, no matter how long it takes!'
The rest of my kind were butting down every door they could possibly see that was closed, killing anyone that may be standing there, anyone that may be breathing, apart from Logan. I always made sure of that.

It had been a full night, and the building was more complex than originally thought. The corridors merged into each other, and we always ended up where we started, always back at square one.
    'My fellow wolves,'
I began, forcing back tears that stung my eyes.
'We shall leave, I am afraid to say it but Logan is not in he-'
I was cut off, seconds from when the pounding of paws would devour this weak, measly whisper.
    "Pash..."
    It was Logan.
