I think he probably knows, it is hard to hide these kinds of feelings between bestfriends.... It started in 2008 on the 16th of February when I first met him, my first day of year 7. I miss those days when we used to sit together in lunch and just talk about everything. Now in year 11 everything has changed, you have started ignoring me you don't bother looking at me, and when you do you Just glare. On the 17th of March 2012 when I first found out you got yourself a girlfriend, as I walked past you kissing her my heart just broke as my eyes shed tears. This is my very own sad love story.
Two years ago on the 18th of December, our first trip together with all our other friends. On the bus we sat next to each other and decided we were going to be in the same room. On that stormy night was the day I found out I was in love with you. When you lied next to me because I was scared of thunder, and told me we were going to be together forever as you kissed my forehead and stayed with me until I fell asleep. And how the next morning I made breakfast and you said you wouldn't mind eating my food for the rest of your life. Our friends made fun of us cause they said we looked like a old married couple.
I remember that day (18th of November 2011) when I went to a party and saw you there. You said you were sick so you were not going to come. I guess that's the day you slowly started drifting away from our friendship. How we all sat down and started playing 'truth or dare' and they dared me to make you jealous by hugging other guys. I guess you actually did get jealous when you grabbed my wrist and took me into an empty room and told me I was acting like a sl*t. That's when I began to cry and you started apologizing to me. And how the next day of school is the day you began ignoring me and broke our friendship bond.
I wonder if he remembers the day I told him he was the only guy I've ever trusted, and all those secrets I've told him that I've never told anyone else. 4 weeks ago was the day when I got moved into his maths class. When I sat with one of his mates he started glaring at me. I wonder when did all this happen. You know the first time I met his girlfriend which was 31 days ago, she asked me if I had feelings for him. I said no. The best thing I can do for him is to wish him the best with his life, I hope that that's the girl he will treasure forever. The one he will love for eternity, the woman he wants to have his kids with. The one that's not me. I guess this is destiny and that's something we have no control over.
