I try not to be biased. I don't want to choose sides. Have you ever thought of the other side? In most situation there at least two perspectives. (By situation, I'm referring to arguments). Of course they will be different because they're different people with different emotions. The human mind likes to manipulate the memory so that in the end the situation is twisted where it's on their side. The human mind cannot be trusted when it's upset and angry. When your upset and lack sense, you often do things you will regret later on. On this game, let's say you made a thread complaining about someone popular. Obviously the friends of that person will throw a fit. If you complain about someone unknown, the thread will likely go unnoticed. But, obviously, if people hate them they'll agree with you, right? Sadly, you are. Every situation is viewed with a biased opinion. Republican? Democrat? Who do you think will win the presidential election? Obviously, if you're a Republican you're more likely to choose from the REPUBLICAN candidates. If you're a Democrat, you're more likely to choose Obama. Of course, I'm not saying its for sure, it's just based on what party you support. You might ask why I'm stating obvious things, you might be typing a comment about how this should be closed because it has no purpose. Well, it does. All who read this, I want you to give me an unbiased opinion, one that does not take your personal preferences into account, about several topics. This is the first. If you cannot react without using your feelings, you may state them, but it is preferable that you choose an unbiased opinion, because it's more of a challenge. I'm sure most of you have heard of Trayvon Martin. If you haven't, Trayvon was a young teenager walking home, in a hoodie. This, of course, is not something bad or uncommon to see someone walk home in a hoodie. But, Mr. George Zimmerman, who was the self proclaimed captain of neighborhood watch, thought this young man might be trouble. Take in account, that Trayvon was African American. He decided to follow the young man, with a firearm. Zimmerman claims the young man confronted him, punched him, so he pulled the firearm on him, and shot him. He was pronounced dead. How do you infer about the situation, without using your personal feelings.
I have heard of the guy, on an article, but the article was biased and said it was because Zimmerman was racist. I do not know if that was true, so don't get any ideas and I was going to cancel my first comment but accidentally posted it so I apologize if you were offended. ._. I need a cup of coffee. D: But I guess I'd be outraged. :3
It's very difficult not to be biased We don't know all of the information so it's difficult to know what happened
If you weren't a witness, then you can't judge this... I'm 90% sure that he was white with a tan though...
If you just have the information that one person has told people then it's likely to be unreliable. Maybe the story got twisted maybe he's a complete liar. There's no other witnesses so he could say whatever he wanted
It's hard to really say what happened. We have no clue if Zimmerman's story is valid or not, so it's hard to give any opinion what so ever.
Gonna be honest Qin I read the first three sentences and I can't read anymore it's too long for my tiny brain i can admit that Just felt like leaving a pointless comment because that's what I'm best at.
