Chapter 1 __________ Katrina laid in the hospital bed, unconscious, and cold. "Kati, can you hear me?", cried her little sister Sarah. No reply. Katrina was almost dead. But as soon as she was about to die, she saw a flash of white light. She opened her eyes, and all she saw was darkness. "Hello? Is anyone here?!", she screamed. Nobody replied, and she was all alone. In less than five seconds, a room started to form around her. The room was maroon, and she ended up sitting on a soft, huge bed. She looked around confused, and called out, "Hello? How did I get here?". She got up and opened the white door, that led to a giant ball room. "Whoa... What is this?", she asked herself. "It's a ballroom. What does it look like?", a deep voice bellowed. Katrina turned around and gasped. There stood a beast. Seven feet tall, hairy, and... Scary. "Who are you? Where am I?!", Katrina shouted defiantly. "I am Vexuros. The god of the beasts.", he replied as he took a step closer, "And you, Katrina Duncan, are trapped inside your own mind." __________
