You could hear the sharp clinging sound of metal hitting metal as our swords hit. I was struggling to defend myself as the man fiercely swayed his sword at me. With one swift hit, he swept my legs out from under me and I was on the ground with a sword at my throat. "You mustn't hold back!" He said in total seriousness, as he grabbed my hand and pulled me up. "I am trying!" I said. I was getting irritated at his incessant yelling. "Angry? You must calm down. You will only win through focus." I took a deep breath, drawing my blade. I focused on him, seeing his moves before he made them. I lunged at him, fiercely striking. This time I knocked his blade away slashing at him, and held the blade across his neck. "Like that?" I said triumphantly. "Perfect." He said in a calmer voice. I exhaled in relief, putting my sword in my sheathe. I walked into the villa, where the old man once again greeted me. "I will show you to your room." He walked me to my room. There was a bath, and a large bed. It was very nice. I stepped in, and the old man closed the door behind him when he went out. I got undressed and got in the bath. I haven't had a bath in a long time. It was heavenly and elegant. I had a deep appreciation for the old man's generosity. I fell asleep in the bath in mere moments. I woke up to a knock. A young, blonde-haired woman walked in, and cringed before turning back. "I'm sorry signore, I did not mean to intrude. "Am I that ugly?" I said joking. "No signore, you're very handsome, I just-" I cut her off. "It's fine! What do you need?" I asked. "I'm new, and the mentor said you can help me." "Sí, i will do my best. But I am very recently recruited too." "Grazie! I have no idea what I am doing!" "You're not alone." "Do you mind if I sleep here tonight?" "Not at all. Take the bed." "I can't possibly!" "I insist!" I wouldn't take no for an answer. "Gratzie! You're very kind!" She went to bed, I could tell she was very tired. She was very pretty. She looked about 20 years of age. She was tall. Anyways, I woke up at dawn, on the sofa which I resided for the night. She was holding a tray with some eggs, and bacon. "Do you want some?" She asked nicely. "Oh yes, please." She handed me the tray, and we talked a while. I then got my sheathe and other items and headed out to the courtyard. A man was waiting there for me with some sort of leather gloves, with plated metal on top. He was standing next to a colossal building, with various limbs sticking out of it. He expected me to climb that I suppose. He gave me the gloves and pointed up. I started upwards... Bump for more, and tell me what you think. PLEASE!
I started scaling the tall building. It looks like it'll take me forever to climb. I was about to grab onto another brick sticking out of the wall, but the man yelled: "STOP!" "What? Why?" I asked in curiosity. "You must climb up by the beams." "Why?" "Because I said so! Now get to it!" I jumped to grab onto a beam to the right of me barely catching it. I climbed onto to it, and fell off balance barely catching myself from death by falling. I pulled myself up again exhaling in relief. I jumped to a pole sticking out of the building and swung to another beam, again nearly losing my balance. I had never done something so dangerous. One final beam to the top. I jumped up, grabbing the end with my right hand. I was hanging there, and then I put my left hand on top of my right since the beam was so thin. I pulled myself up, climbing onto the roof of the circular building. I saw something in the middle, some sort of wristlet. I walked up and grabbed it, equipping it to my arm. There was another one as well, and I equipped it to my other arm. What are these? I thought to myself. I put my hands back, and a sharp blade sprang out of each one. This was magnificent craftsmanship. "How am I supposed to get down!?" I said, yelling from the roof. "Jump!" He yelled back. "What? Are you kidding me!?" "Trust me!" I braced myself, and leaped down. I felt the wind in my hair, and the adrenaline race through my blood as I fell through the air. I then landed on something soft, and suddenly it was dark. I dug my way out, and saw that I was in a hay bale. I was baffled at how I survived such a fall. So I asked the man. "One who fights for the right reasons, can not die so easily." He said. Such a wise man. I was tired now and decided to go inside and take a bath. Sighing in relief as I stepped into the bathtub, I let myself drift away into sleep. I woke up to the blonde-haired girl lying on my bed fast asleep. She laid out clothes for me, and I put them on. Along with my new blades. It was truly a pleasure to have such fine mechanics on my wrist. Little did I know, I would haft to use them so soon. Tell me your thoughts please! Love you! Especially you Katie, don't kill me...
