*Ding Dong... Ding Dong* I sighed and looked up at the clock. Ah... It was twelve-thirty in the afternoon. Time for afternoon classes... I quietly and some what quickly got up from my seat and said goodbye to my friends. I walked down the hallway to my Mathematics class. Oh how I dreaded this class... I opened the door. And once again I was the first one there. "Hello, Arianna." I sighed and looked towards the blackboard. A tall, lean and bespectacled man stood, notebook in one hand, his other pushing his glasses further up onto his nose. "Hi..." I muttered and walked to the back of the classroom and took the seat nearest to the window. I looked outside... What a beautiful day it was. My eyes turned towards the young man. My mathematics teacher, Mr.Klein. Adam Klein, age twenty-four. He had short brown hair that fell into his eyes a bit. He had grey eyes the were shielded by a pair of nice dark-rimmed glasses. I said quietly. He sighed and went back to his lesson. I sat there in complete embarrassment. Why had he not waken me up earlier?! Later... I was exhausted... What had I done?! I turned to Mr.Klein who didn't seem worried at all. He smiled down at me and patted my head. "Did you mean what you said...?" I asked. "Yes. I will take care of you and your sister, if that is what you want." I nodded. I looked down at the ground. "This is illegal... If they find out that you aren't my uncle... they could..." "I know. It's a risk I'm willing to take. I can't help but feel the need to keep you and your sister safe." Tears formed in my eyes. The realization of my parents disappearance finally hit me and I couldn't help but cry. The tears wouldn't stop crying and I fell to the ground. He knelt beside me and wrapped his arms around me.
