Amongst the top of a rugged building in the midst of Afghan, the dust begins to set in. Captain Jack and his squad of six members, still yet to be determined are going to inflitrate and take down an All-Time terrorist group known as, "The FFMers" On this voyage, people will encounter slavery, shooting, stabbing, blood, and horror, as the team sweeps across Afghanistans desert in search of a brighter future, and to bring FFM to an end.
"SQUAD! ATTENTION!" The squad quicky snaps to attention as the Captain calls out, emphasizing his diaphragm to enthusize and startle the squad members. "I am your new CO, that means Commanding Officer for all of you young kids who have no idea what they are doing here." The Captain says, as everyone stands still with head and eyes straight forward, focusing on the dull horizon they will be patrolling in order to find this Terrorist Group. "At Ease, Men." The group then adjusts themselves, and continues to stand still at a modified position of parade rest. The squad listens attentively to what their new CO has to say about themselves. "As you all may know, I myself had enlisted as soon as I possibly could, and made the most of it. As you all may know, I am your superior, and you gripe to me. I will not gripe to you, I gripe to my superiors. Understood, hooah?" "HOOAH!" Says the Squad in complete unison. After the Captains introduction, he let the squad fall out and discuss with each other, while at the same time, setting up a small camp out and inside of a shanty looking building they found close nearby. "This place looks like it was welded together about five minutes ago," exclaimed Cyber. Cyber, just another kid off the block. It was his callsign the Captain had given him as a result of his own introduction during formation. He was our tank engineer, and also had a major conflict with computers when he was in basics, and went through Ranger school. "Thanks for the heads-up Cyber," Sizzle replied. Sizzle, just a small town girl, coming straight out of Ranger school. Not the biggest girl on the block, but she could hold her own. She was our Anti-Tank and Anti-Ground specialist. She was nicknamed Sizzle for her expertese in Incendiaries and StarClusters she had proven to the guys when experimenting with firearms. The new CO nodded in approval, and began to instruct others how to set up camp, while using this small building as a Service Field-HQ. The Squad had set up their makeshift tents in a square perimeter surrounding the shack, and continued on making cruel and innocent jokes about each other, while at the same time, growing a bond between real-time soldiers.
"Why do they call you Sizzle?" asked Bolt with a questionable frown on his face. Bolt was a runner for the Captain during the last firefight they had before. He was a cheetah on the battlefield. Captain had asked him before if he would clear out a small cave that was occupied by a smaller organization of terrorists by the name of "Sverp." He did so by running through the line of fire, escaping bullets every which way they had turned, and continued onto his objective, despite the fact he had a bullet enter and exit through his right shoulder. "They call me Sizzle, because I like to blow stuff up, I like to make a loud bang wherever possible. Explosions happen at my fingertips, and fire is my specialty. I got the nickname from the guy that asked me last about my previous nickname" Replied the seemingly PO'd lady. The Captain looks over and pushes out a small cough from his chest, and spits to the side.. He stands up, and faces some of his subordinates. "Get to know each other, real well. I can care less how much you two fight and bicker, but we are a team." He stands up tall and firm, and proceeds motioning the rest to set up defenses in case something happens during the night. "I will set watch on top of the.. Whatever the hell that is across the street," Captain says as he points to an abandoned unstable restraunt. The squad members begin setting up traps, and digging holes around the shack, in case of unexpected rain. Sandbags that were dropped off from their convoy were set up in a V shape, positioned strategically around the shack. "Reinforcements will arrive in the morning," says the Captain in high hopes, "Or at least I hope so.."
Ad the defenses were properly set up by the surely small team, Sizzle and Bolt, went to their respective tents. Cyber by himself went inside of the shack to set up a few cots for himself and the Captain, along with setting up communications and computers. We lucked out because the town we were in, still had power, but was easily able to be shut down because this is indeed inside of "Sverp" territory. Once the telecommunications were set up and established, Cyber radioed into the main Command center positioned nearby, approx. 75 miles away. His transmission was delayed for awhile, and he kept trying.. The power goes out Someone knows that they are there. Somebody knows exactly where they are.
The powers shuts off, the screens go black. All communications are lost. Its only Cyber now.. He runs outside to alert everyone, and immediately wakes up Sizzle and Bolt. Bolt quickly jumps to his feet and arms hinself next to one of the V shaped sandbags. "CAPTAIN! THE COMMUNICATIONS ARE DOWN! THE POWER IS OUT! INCOMI-" A mortar explodes just overhead, and some dust and rocks hit cyber from behind, and he flies forward, but quickly jumps to his feet. "INCOMING! OVERHEAD! ENEMY MORTARS!" Yells out Sizzle in a knowing scream. She had a thing for explosives, and she can tell by the sound. "The mortar hit the ground before we heard the shot." Captain carefully analyzed the situation with his keen senses, and layed down across the top of the building.. He looks down the scope and.. "Oh my.. G-" A mortar explodes into the side of the building he was on top of, and the building collapses inwards, leaving nothing but debris and dust. Oncoming shouts come from over the hills across the sand dune, as Bolt ran through the clouds of dust, in a straining attempt to find the Captain. Sizzle and Cyber took up positions against the sandbags, and set up their armament facing the screams. Cyber looks through his personal scope, and shouts out, "INFANTRY! 30 plus!" Sizzle quickly pulled out an AT-4 (Anti-Tank Launcher) and fired with precision at the seemingly correct position. A cloud of red smoke was left where the shot had made impact, but the screams still continued. "NICE HIT!" Cyber says as he see's a few members drop back and fall back in ranks. The screaming stops, and Sizzle and Cyber continue to celebrate as Bolt yells out from the clearing dust behind them, "HELP! Captain's Down!" They run over there in a sense of urgency. The screams begin again, as wave upon wave of the enemy pile over the hill. The end may be near for this linely squad. The enemy surrounds them, they corner them in the broken down building, just as..
A thumping noise came in the distance.. The noise grew louder and louder, and it begun to stir up the sand. A plane?.. No. Transport? Did they come? Did they hear the relay? Sand was being twirled in every direction, as the Chinook helicopter had tilted unto its side. The passengers aboard had begun letting off concentrated salvo's hit the lines of the rushing enemies. The Helicopters advanced pilot had pinpoint precision as he successfully evaded a few RPG's and Mortars that were continuously being fired towards the Chinook. CRACK! "What the hell was that!?" The Pilot demanded. "We're going down!" On the ground: Bolt was trying his gardest to wave the smoke away from his face in order to see clearly on the ground.. He was flipping over rubvle and debris, and he saw a hand.. He pulled at the hand, but it was attached to something.. An arm! The Captain was alive! He was still moving, but barely. Bolt used all of the muscle he had in him to force clearing above his new CO. With his muscles aching, and intense stress and gunfire above, the crashing helicopter seems as if it were causing even more stress on him. Bolt lets off a scream, pushing as hard as he can, forcibly taking his mask off hIs face to help him breathe, and FORCES the shattered peices of building off the Captain. The Captain lay there motionless, as Bolt drags him to safety, nowhere near harm. In the air: "HANG TIGHT!" The pilot was swerving every which way trying to regain control of the helicopter. There was no way this could possibly turn out good.. The helicopter crashing in between the hill where the enemies were filing over, and our Squad members. In fear of hitting the Helicopter, Sizzle had begun throwing StarCluster grenades instead of fatal grenades. Cyber had begun releasing accurate bursts of fire, releasing in salvo's at the right flank. Bolt was watching the left flank, with a .44. Bolt was having the hardest time, while trying to keep the Captain awake, and clearing off his side of the dune at the same time.. Inside of the Helicopter: Most have fell out, and were crushed, and the rest, except the Pilot and the medic were alive.. They had to get out.. But how? The enemies continued to flush overtop of the hills, and it seemed as if the Helicopter were about to be overrun.
