Chapter 1 -------------- Michael ran for his life. He crossed the line with Darry, the Bully. Michael had just entered high school and it's been two weeks. He felt his heartbeat slowing down and his eyes were closing. Michael stopped running and fell down. He woke up in a hospital bed he could barely breath. "Oh good you're awake." The nurse said. "Why am I here?" Michael asked. "You passed out on the hard sidewalk and you broke your nose." The nurse said. Michael stared at the ceiling thinking. Why can't I live a normal life? Why can't I just live a happy life? He kept asking himself inside his head. Michael was sent home the Next day. He arrived home and went to his room in the basement. He found a piece of glass on the floor. He grabbed it and placed it on his wrist. He breathed heavily closing his eyes. He slowly cut his wrist but stopped. He dropped the glass and let the blood flow out. His father came downstairs and saw him lying there on his bed letting his blood drip on the floor. He quickly ran to cover his wrist. "What is wrong with You?!?! Are you trying to kill yourself?! Don't be stupid!" his father yelled. Two years later Michael got out of his truck and entered the school. A nerd walked up to him and handed him his homework. "I.. I did your homework for you just like you asked Michael... Sir." The nerd said. "Give me that pip-squeak and get out of my way!" Michael yelled. Michael went inside the bathroom when no one was there and went into a stall. He sat there and cried. His face was bright red and he thought of an excuse to say if any of his bully friends ask him why his face is red. Michael stole lunch money and buyer his own lunch. "What happened to me?" Michael went home after school and saw his parents fighting again. They were fighting in the kitchen and Michael was hungry so he went in. "This is stupid! All you complain about is the food! You don't even love me anymore do you?!" Michael's mom yelled. "This is stupid I'm out of here!" Michael's dad yelled and stormed out the door. "Dad?" Michael asked. His dad was far gone already. He had stolen Michael's truck. Michael was walking to the basement and saw the scar he has on his wrist. It was from two years ago. "Michael! Get up here! I need to tell you something!" His mom yelled. "What?" Michael asked. "Before you came here your father hurt my arm and broke it, and pushed me on the floor and hurt my back. I'm going to the hospital now. Goodbye probably for a month." She said and left. Michael stood there In shock. All he could hear is his breathing. He went outside and saw the nerd from school. Michael stole his lunch money,made him do his homework,and physically and emotionally hurt him. Michael just flipped. "GET BACK OVER HERE PIP-SQUEAK!" He yelled.
