Hi guys. A lot of people dont understand why they are being silenced and one of the main reasons is mentioning kik or anything else like touch and palringo. You will most probably get silenced for mentioning this. The reason is it's personal information given out to someone you dont know.
No, it's because it's a third party app. Now, if you give out your id for one of them, that's personal info and a third party app.
Ohhhhhhhhhh my bad. But...since she mentioned a third party app, why isn't she silenced? Or is she excused because of something or other or am I just reading things wrong or...?
Az, he wasn't promoting the app or saying to "Kik him" or Anything like that. He just said that's one of the reasons he believes people are silenced. Also, it's personal contact info because you give someone a way to contact you outside of this app.
But he says "mentioning third party app" and Neon said he was right. And if mentioning a third party app gets you silenced for simply mentioning it because not only is it advertising a third party app, but also giving out personal info, how is that supposed to make sense? "You got silenced for telling personal info." But...I only posted the name of the app... That makes no sense. I'm confused.
Maybe Neon assumes that if you mention the app you're giving your name for it, making it personal contact info. Really it'd be third party advertising. "Blah blah blah is a good app". Not Personal info, but 3rd party. I'm not really too sure. You've got me confused now lol.
Lol that's what I meant when I made my post... Maybe he's confused too? Or we're just really, really behind.
Well Technically you're advertising another app if you say the name of it. If I were to name an app you hadn't heard of, then you may be inclined to check it out, thus advertising it.
On that part I really don't know. I think there's just some confusion on the interpretation somewhere.
You can say pal but not much else OP should be silenced for third party advertising though, no? Simply mentioning an app is advertising it, as royale explained.
