School was finally coming around the corner. I was eleven this year! Finally! "Katherine!" I turned to see my older brother Nemian waving towards me. I smiled at him and waved back. "Morning Nemian!" "So you'll finally be going to Hogwarts this year," he said grinning. "Now I can show off my cute sister to all my friends!" he laughed and he leaned over kissing me softly on the forehead. I blushed. "Nemian?! Don't do that!" "Why not? You are my sister..." he smiled. "It's called affection!" I smiled. "Fine..." 4 months later... I sat on the train, my clothes and other things packed away. I set my wand beside me, and happily rested my head on Nemian's shoulder. "Here! Let's sit here!" My eyes shifted towards the door and I noticed a medium built boy with glasses and dark hair. He was grinning. There were two other boys with him, one with light brown hair, very cute. The other boy caught my attention... He had dark hair and dark eyes. He seemed serious, and his face was definitely handsome. His eyes met mine and I blushed turning away. "James, Remus, Sirius!" greeted Nemian. He smiled. "Hey Nemian!" said the boy with glasses and he sat next to Nemian. "It's good to see you!" his eyes shifted towards me and he smiled. "Hello, and how might you be?" he asked. "K-Katherine..." "It's nice to meet you Katherine, I'm James Potter," he said smiling at me. I smiled back. "It's nice to meet you too James," I said quietly. I smiled at Nemian who seemed to be in a pouty mood. "I'm Remus Lupin," said the light haired boy. He extended his hand towards me. "Katherine," I said softly as I extended mine as well. He lightly shook my hand and smiled innocently. "I'm Sirius. Sirius Black," said the handsome boy. He made no intention of introducing himself further. He barely even made eye contact with me. He made me blush by the way he spoke and his movements. "Sirius... you could be friendlier..." said James quietly. "It's because I don't know her very well," he explained. "But you're probably hurting her feelings..." "James... I'm just not in a good mood. She can take a little rudeness don't you think?" I sighed. It was like I wasn't even in the room. I looked at Nemian and he smiled at me. "What year are they in? Are they your friends?" "They're in fourth year. I'm in fifth. We're not friends, but we're in the same house, so we kinda know each other pretty well," he said. "Gryffindor?" "Yep. The house you'll be in too!" he smiled and looked at the three. "They're nice people but you just have to get to know them." I smiled. "Okay!" I looked at the three of them as they laughed and told each other jokes and what they did during their summers.
