There is no harder point in life than being a teenager, but what's harder is being a teenager of the female kind and what's nearly impossible (without going insane) is being a female teenage witch. So this is me, Rose Weasley at your service. My life was never easy, but it got a lot harder the moment I stepped into Hogwarts. No, it wasn't from my prat of a little brother, or my obsessive mother, or my clueless father. It wasn't even the fame of my family that followed me wherever I went. Let me give you a hint: a tall blonde guy, with a striking resemblance to a ferret. My first time at Kings cross station was almost a disaster, well first off Mum kept telling me to keep close to my older cousins and asking if I had remembered to pack certain... Personal items. My Father barely said a word the entire time except for when it was time for me to go. He held me by the shoulders, bent down, and kissed my forehead. Then he said, "Rosie, there is one thing I need to warn you about. Do you see that little blonde boy over there?" He pointed to a small boy around my age that was a mini clone of the man standing next to him. "That is little Scorpius Malfoy, I don't want you anywhere near him." I had heard so many stories about the Malfoy family that their name alone just about made me sick. "I want you to beat him on every test, outsmart him at any challenge, and if he comes anywhere near you I want you to hex his pants off." He winked at me and went to stand by Mum who was tapping her foot and glaring at Dad. "Ronald," She growled, playfully smiling, "Rose, please be careful, sit by your cousins they know where to go." With that she pushed me gently towards the steaming train. I glanced back and noticed Mum had tears running down her cheeks and I swore I saw Dads eyes watering. They all waved at me as I stepped onto the train. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and stepped into my new life. Unfortunately it didn't work as planned. As I stepped into the narrow corridor of the train some stupid bloke crashed into me. "Watch it," the boy hissed. "You watch it yourself," I hissed back. Weasleys tend to be very good at fighting verbally and physically. I looked up from dusting myself off and was so startled by the bloke in front of me I took an involuntary step back. "You," we said at the same time. "Next time watch where you're going, Malfoy." I spat out the words like poision. "I don't plan on running into you again, Weasley, there won't be a next time." I pushed past him into the compartment that held my family. I have a lot of them. My cousins James, Albus and Lily are the children of my Aunt Ginny and Uncle Harry. Then there's Victoire, Dominique and Louis whose parents are Aunt Fleur and Uncle Bill. Molly and Lucy are Uncle Percy and Aunt Audrey's Children. Uncle George and Aunt Angelina's children are Fred and Roxanne. And of course there's my very own brother, Hugo. I'm pretty sure that's everyone. "Hey, Scarlet!" James said enthusiastically. "Whats with your face? Were you chewing on lemons or something?" He laughed. "Not funny, Potter," I mumbled and self-consciously stroked my Weasley red hair. "So what's wrong?" Albus my fellow first year, asked me. I glared at the wall. "Malfoy," I grumbled. "Ha-ha boy trouble already, Scarlet?" James teased me. He was a year above me and Al and always liked to make fun of us. "Don't worry, he's just a good for nothing git," Dom jumped in, my best female cousin and fellow first year. "And he's a Malfoy," Roxy said, pretended to gag herself, her blue-green eyes rolled back into her head. I rolled my eyes at her. She was in James's year and almost as bad as him. In an attempt to ignore my cousins taunting I stared out of the window. The countryside raced by the window, the beautiful fall colours blended into a mosiac of flaming reds, oranges and yellows. I slumped down in the red, velvet seats, probably missing my already frizzy hair. My stomach growled, fed up with my cousins persistant teasing I decided to find the sweets trolley, "I'm going to get some chocolate frogs," I declared and squeezed out into the hall. After I bought some I headed back to my compartment when someone from behind me called my name. My last name. "Oi Weasley! You took the last of the chocolate frogs, give 'em here," the voice demanded "No!" I whirled around and found myself nose to nose with Malfoy... Again. "Hiya Weasley." He smirked. "Go stalk someone else you tosser." I glared at him. "Where did you learn to talk like that, Weasley? Your blood-traiter father or your mudblood Mum? He taunted. This crossed the line. I marched right up to him and somehow my fist found his nose. And it didn't go well for either of us. "Owwwwwwwww" I howled in pain. I looked over and saw Malfoy in the same position but holding his nose to keep it from bleeding. My knuckles were throbbing and I held my hand protectively to my chest. "Holy Hippogriff Crap" I heard James exclaim from behind me. "Scarlet, what happened? If he did anything to you I'll kill him." "He called Mum a mudblood." I said through gritted teeth. James tool my good arm and helped me up. By this time the hall had become clogged with people that wanted to see what had happened. Malfoy was still on the ground holding his nose and moaning. "Nice Rosie," I heard Al say from behind me. He sounded genuinely pleased. "Coming through, excuse me students back to your compartments! Move out of the way… now!" we all knew what was coming: the teachers had found out. I backed up against James and that was when McGonagall stepped through the wall of students. "What in Merlins name is going on here?" Great. My life had just ended before it had even begun.
LOVE ITTTT!!! (if it's not to much to ask, can Helena be in it? She's a Potter. Well she is now... Lawl)
