Update: "Hi savannah!" I giggle and drop her on the concrete. She looks exactly like me, has the same Dark red (or ruby as she likes to say) long curls that drop to our waist, same brown eyes that savannah says glitter like the stars in a country area. Same freckles that go on our arms and a bunchfull on our cheek bones. last of all, same huge pupils and eyelashes that hit our tweezed eyebrows. "So, where are we eating today?" she asks. We look at each other and scream with joy. "CHECKERS!!!" We yell, making the students in the hallways stare at us. Grabbing my arm, she looks at me again. "Your car or mine?" Savannah owns a red Truck, and I own a black jeep. "Mine. Let's have the top down." I reply. No matter what, we love to have the top down, even when it's raining. At stop lights we stand up and sing along to any rock song that's on. "Awesomeness! Love those coolio cracker-lacking boots!" she always says weird expressions. Its like she speaks in tongues. I guess that's why I like her. Unique personality. Savannah grabs my arms and pelts along the hallways and heads for my car, and I'm struggling to keep up with her. A lot of energy she has. Like a bumble bee in the middle of spring, as my grandma likes to say. Savannah reaches the jeep and goes into the passenger seat. I go into the drivers seat and fumble for my keys In my backpack. "Are you going to continue my portrait?" Savannah questions. She thinks I'm a terrific drawler and has begged me since the beginning of the school year to draw her. Me, being te awesome friend I am, oblige. "Yes I will." I respond. Finding my keys, I force them into the ignition and place the car in reverse. Gently yet quickly and with grace, I pull out my parking space. I watch for other students as I make my way out of the parking lot. Once I reach the exit, I zoom off, heading for my favorite place in the world
Update: We reach Checkers in a matter of minutes. I jump out, but not before grabbing my wallet that I have written "Flyleaf" in bloody handwriting. Savannah giggles. "I Love checkers!!" she gushes. I smile "me too." We head towards the window on the left side and quickly order. I'm not feeling all that great from earlier so I just get a sprite and some fries. Savannah orders so many things I'm afraid to repeat them. I glare at her, because she knows I'm paying. She smiles apollegeticly (excuse the spelling). "l loverz yew Ari!" she semi-yells, hugging me tight. "I-Loverz-Yew-Too." I struggle to say is her strong yet fragile arms wraps tighter and tighter by the milli-second. I pull her over to the window beside the previous one and grab our food and pay. I lead her to one of the old-fashioned circular table with a red and white stripped (idk if I spelled that right) umberella poking out from the center. Savannah quickly gobbles down her food as I take a sip of my drink every now and then. A dark blue truck pulls up beside my Jeep. Two men get out. No, two teenagers get out of the truck. I don't know if it's just my imagination, but I swear I know them. I quickly look away, but Savannah notices and look at the Boys. She stares at one, memorized. "Savannah?" I question, moving my hand in front of her face. Her mind snaps into relality(bad speller here). "I'm ok, I'm ok." she states. I look over at the one she wasn't staring at, the driver. He stares at me too. We lock eyes. I swear the look in his eyes is hatred.
