I have been editing and rewriting my old story, the Trip. I truly have a good story line going and I hope to finish this. I am going to take my time though, as I have a life outside of PIMD. Ithinkkkk. Jk, I do. But anyways, you can almost definitely expect an update every weekend and hopefully often enough during the week. I really hope you all like it, as it won't be like most stories on here. Please, include feedback and tips in your bumps! Thank you! -Sydney.
PART UNO! *BEEP BEEEEEP BEEP!* My eyes flutter open and my arm shoots out from under my pale green quilt to press the snooze button. "Damn alarm...", I mutter as I sit up in bed and reach over to turn it off. Only I would accidentally wake up at 5am on my first day of summer vacation. My name is Rosie Grande and I am 17. I just recently graduated Raleigh Charter HighSchool and I am attending UNC Chapel Hill this coming fall. I live in a large home off the coast of Cali with my father, mother and younger brother Gregory. I have dark brown hair, sparkly green eyes and fair skin. I on the other hand, do not play any instruments. I actually am the least artistic of all my family. I play tennis. I was the RCHS tennis team captain for 3 years straight. Not only do I play tennis, but I also run track and cheer. My father is a tall man, about 6'1 with curly brown hair and tan skin. It seems as if he hasn't aged since he was 30. The same for my mother. She on the other hand is only about 5'4 and has straight, dirty blonde hair. They both started their own businesses a few years after college. My father is a musician and artist, we have quite a few of his paintings hung throughout the house. My mother is a successful children's book author. She read many, many of her own books to Greggy and I as we grew up. As for Greg, he is only seven but showing many signs of artistic potential. He has my father's dark curly hair but my mothers green eyes and facial features. Not only does he take after our parents in physical features, but he also is basically a musical prodigy. He began playing the piano and guitar at 4 and can actually sing. He has already began to write his own songs. I have a pretty well off life ahead of me. I especially can not wait until my friends and I leave for the my familys beach house. Tanning, boys, the ocean, clubbing and more boys. Even better? It's an all summer trip. The week I get home, I take off again and head to college. Ahhh. No more high school drama, stupid cliques or useless relationships. This is the life.
