I really can't believe that story..... I highly doubt it. If it really dud happen it's mere coincidence. Time travel will never be invented and neither will seeing the future.
Blockey you missed some good stuff a few pages back, idk though I think traumatic experiences could in fact disturb your Personal time clock so much that your dream state sees it before it happens. Physics tell that the math is possible for traveling forward in time, just not back.

So has anyone hear heard of the magnetic test you can do in pitch black to simulate the "god presence" feeling? Apparently it comes from one location in your brain and you can actually stimulate it by using a magnetic field.
It says in the bible. Of course, I didn't read the whole bible, but when I go to mass, the priest preaches it and yeah, I read some of the bible and it says there. We have to live a good life to go to heaven.
See that's the thing, I grew up southern Baptist and they told us that the only way to go to heaven is to be saved and reborn. You can be gandhi and not go to heaven if you arnt saved.
I respect your religion and everything but you asked for it soo. Well, what do you mean by saved? Cause Jesus already saved us.
Yeah see I was wondering why you couldn't just be a good person and get in haha. They mean like fully give yourself to Jesus and stop living for yourself and live your life for his will. Either way I just think its weird how religions can have different guide lines... Does that mean everyone but one religion is screwed when it comes to getting to heaven?
Well, you can be a good person and get in. And people give themselves entirely because they want to spread the Word to others so the others can repent from their bad ways and still have a chance at heaven. As for your last question, this is what I think, but I am not God so this is just what I think. You don't have to be a certain religion to go to heaven. Just do good in your life. Help others. God sees us as all equal, it's our actions that He sees. So if you are Catholic, and you do something bad and don't repent, it's not exactly a one-way ticket to heaven for you. Whereas you can practice the religion so far from Christianity, and do good, and still go to heaven.
Hmm have you ever wondered if god does favor a religion? I always wonder how people can surround themselves with the church, and god and all that and still be pure evil. It's never really made me understand why god doesn't send them more signs to get them to change.
Monazita ... about your 'Christmas isn't Christian' post ... wow. Did you not read my post? The pagans don't own that date. The date isn't 'pagan'. It's a flipping date, it belongs to no one. Yes, Coca-Cola did come up with a representation of 'Santa,' but guess what ... that actually came after, and has no bearing on, the holiday. There IS a modernised version of Christmas celebrated by non-practicing Christians and the like, and the gist of that is, 'let's all swap gifts and take a week off work'. But the fact is — I cannot stress this enough — CHRISTMAS IS A CHRISTIAN HOLIDAY. Real Christian Christmas does involve gift-giving and such; generosity is a valuable trait. Real Christian Christmas also involves prayer — which can very often be another form of generosity — and, yes, aiding the needy. Just because you personally don't give time and effort to the helpless and hopeless on Christmas, that doesn't mean true Christians also don't. The point of Christmas is that it's a celebration of the nativity — that is, when the CHRISTIAN-NOT-PAGAN Jesus came to earth. And as to all of that crap about how 'Christmas isn't even on Jesus's birthday': well, first off, it was a very long time ago, and history is muddled. People say His 'real birthday' is in April or something — but how do we know that that 'proof' isn't inaccurate? And by the way, Jesus existed in heaven before human life anyway. No date or time conceivable to humankind is indeed His 'birthday'. It is celebrated when it is partly because the weather at that time, in many places, can be quite damaging to human moods. Christmas is a time to not only do good for others, but also to recognise what is good in one's own life, to not forget all that God in His goodness has done for them. I'm sorry if this is not what the creator of the thread wanted, but I just had to respond ...
It is what I wanted! Discussion that isn't "YOU ARE STUPID AN WRONG SHUT UP AND GO" < not needed. What you are doing is exactly right! You bring up the best point of all about Christmas being about prayer and the nativity. On the subject of Jesus's true birth date, astronomers have turned back the hands of time to see what position the north star would have to be in for the story to be true, and botanist have made good points about the crops that were brought to nativity not being in season during winter. But what I don't think they really took into account is during the mayan life span the stars in the sky shifted showing new Constellations and new sets of stars so how are we sure that the bible depicts the North Star and not the brightest star at that time period. (yes I question scientist xD )
It's not wrong to question science! And about your point about what crops and such were brought — what I'm saying is, how do we know THOSE records are accurate? There's no way to be sure or to check, obviously.
I'm with you! I think that a lot of facts got changed over time. We brought that up earlier, I just look at it like a fable, we need to take the meaning and morals from the story not use the story as account of history.. When people try and argue that word by word the bible is right because god wrote it I just look at them baffled.
