Now I wanna start a thread and share all my experiences I've had with Demons, or dark spirits at least if you would. I am Cajun French and so voodoo has always been something real to me... But I don't think it ties to why I've had evil spirits follow me all my life.
Also I'm not one to argue over this stuff, if people can't have an educated discussion and bounce ideas and theories back and forth (and take some with a grain of salt) then I'm not one to converse with them.
I meant what If there was 1 religion but it somehow got all jumbled up in a way or people fought bc they think their version was the right one? Or people left bc they thought they were right? Isn't bob Mackey haunted? They said that the evil spirits will haunt you for days and follow you home

One other fact to really think over is that the bible wasn't written till 500 years after Jesus died and resurrected so imagine how many stories got passed down generations with fine details changed.

According to science Jesus was born sometime in spring... Not on the 25th of December.... The bible was write by men... Therefore is full of mistakes, humankind is egocentric, power greedy, and selfish by nature, everyone who wrote the bible told the story to their own advantage and to their own truth. Everyone who is mentioned in the bible was already dead when they decided to start writing. So there's is nothing there that can be taken as truth.
And what if the whole time they were righting fictional fables to pass on morals like Aesop?! Also 4 people in Russia got arrest for terrorist reasons because they were developing a host virus that shuts the brain down and trying to get it to become a "zombie virus" this wasnt even 2 months ago so some scientist are out there working on it lol.
The story I heard was that we celebrate Christmas bc the priest didn't want pagans to die. So... He made it up and Christmas is more of a pagan holiday than a Christian holiday

The only thing 'pagan' about it is the date. And, sorry, the date doesn't belong to pagans. Anyone can use it for a holiday without the holiday becoming 'theirs'.
Sorry, I forgot to mention — some people say the way in which Christmas is celebrated is reminiscent of pagan celebration (I don't know if you meant this). In fact, the way Christmas is celebrated is quite an individual thing — and at the same time, some of the base traditions are somewhat universal in humans.
I'm a Christian because well, He saved us! The least we can do is follow Him. And how did I know that He saved us? Faith. Faith that when we die, we don't just disappear forever, instead, we will go to heaven. (or hell, but I wanna go to heaven). It takes time to believe, but it's the way you can just talk to God about anything, and He won't talk to you back directly, but He'll show you a sign. And though your life may suck, just remember it happens for a reason. Jesus died for us, and yeah, His life must have sucked at that time, but he resurrected. I learned all of this because I was raised to believe in God. And also because gradually, I learned to love Him.
Christmas has nothing Christian... The date is pagan The Christmas tree is pagan The gifts are consumerist Santa is marketing (coke cola) The midnight mass is pagan The only thing Christian about Christmas is that it's Jesus birthday, but the date is a lie... The only way christmas will be christian is if on the days before people instead of going gift shopping will go grocery shopping and feeding the needy, it's when on Christmas eve, instead of having your family at your table you have homeless people, sick people, lonely people... After all isn't that what being a Christian is all about?
