---- She was so mediocre and mundane, she blended in the background, not giving a care to the world. Her only concern was him, the guy who always followed her when she purposely avoided him. The shy little girl with such a plain façade, it made it seem impossible for her to lead a perfect life. She was so elegant though, just like the creamy vanilla. Yes. Just like her appearance, her personality... Her name. Vanilla. He was so stoic, so flamboyant. He was the type to think highly of himself, an arrogant fool. His spunky and wild attitude led him to the table where he was treated as a highschool God, his attitude that made him look like the devil's son. He didn't care about anyone... That was his rule. Until he met a certain girl that interested him, the same girl that got him to come out of his shell, the same girl with the unsolvable secret he was so damn determined to solve. He... Was named, Spice. ---- Authority rang in his voice as he yelled at the team, slapping his own coach for not doing something properly. His demeanor was dark, as a shy and quiet girl sat in the bleachers, reading a book quietly. The sky above her was cerulean blue, just like her friend who had dragged her along. "Vani! Hurry up! Choose a guy already!" Apparently, she was prettied up and dragged here, only to be some sort of doll for a person to pick at; an object for purchase. She raised her head and looked at the football team. Eye contact was made immediately, and the male stopped shouting. His neck was craned at an angle that made him look like a lost puppy, and they were both looking at each other, desperate to snap out of the trance. Their friends however, took note of this. "Vani! Him?! You've got to be kidding! I've got skills, but him?! He's NOT your type! Trust me! He is -" "Hiro, snap out of your damn trance. I cannot believe you are even LOOKING at her! That girl isn't even hot! Just -" Their mouths shut when the girl rose abruptly, and the boy threw his helmet on the ground, compelled by an unknown force. ---- 'Vanilla, no! No! No!' 'Hiro, no! Don't move any closer-' Their thoughts were interrupted as they slammed face first into each other, the girl hitting his chest. They were out of the field and at the back of the school, when the girl rubbed her sore forehead. "Oh... I'm so sorry. I didn't know why..." "Save it. It's obvious you're into me." The boy began his flirtious tactics, but the girl was immune to it. She didn't blush, she only sat there, her glasses on the floor. At the start, Hiro would've never taken a second glance if she still had them on. He was the type to hit on girls then throw them away. "Hn?" She shook her head before pawing at the ground, trying desperately to find her glasses. The guy sat there puzzled as to why she didn't fall for his tricks and charm. He was humiliated, for this was the first time a girl has ever turned him down. Hiro hesitated before picking her glasses up, putting them inside his pockets before he stood up and left. "... Oh..." ---- D:
----- "Where the hell were you, Hiro?!" The male glared at his coach as he snapped back. "Why the hell weren't you coaching?!" That shut him up. He ran to the water fountain and filled his bottle with water, looking at the glasses he took from the girl. 'Hmm... Why did I take these... But... If it's going to lure you, heck, I'll do it. You are just too elegant to lose.' ---- "Banira! Banira!" I flinched as she called out my name. "Bani!" "Wasn't it Vani for a minute ago..." "They both have the same meaning. Heck, it's just a name. I coul call you Eni anytime I want." "Eni? You're delusional." "Psh. Yeah right. Says the girl that ran into Hiro Takahashi." Hiro Takanashi... I heard that name before. "Oi! Where's your glasses?" I touched my face before gasping. How did I get here anyways? Oh. Right. Amiru was shouting vulgarities again. "I don't know... The guy might've taken them when I was on the floor." "What? Is he that hot to make you fall on your knees? Banira! Oooooooh! You got a naughty side!" I ignored her tease and racked my brain. Hiro... Hiro... Hiro... "Amiru. Did you say Hiro?" "Yes I did! Yes I did! Do you know who the eff he is?" "Don't rap her songs. It makes me want to stay away from you." "Don't say that! My heart! It's broken!" I giggled for a moment before sulking. Hiro Takanashi... The guy I ran into... So that means... "Oi! Pig!" I stared at Chiyo who called me that. Chiyo and her wannabe posse. "What did you do now, Chiyo-baka." "I taught Arisu something!" "Arisu? I told you, Koizumi isn't yours. Don't kill her if he likes her." I glared at Chiyo. She had been my friend ever since fifth grade, but she had become more and more distant. "Banira's right. Chiyo, you baka. No wonder all the boys choose somebody prettier than you." Me and Amiru looked at Chiyo who fumed. "Me?! I thought you were my friend, baka!" "Baka?! Look who's talking, pig!" I walked away, not wanting to get into their fight. Amiru had always been my best friend, and I had always let her in my secrets, but now... I want to know why he took my glasses. ---- Yes. This is a collab between my new story, "Forbidden Affection". Forbidden Affection is about Arisu, a bullied school girl where she meets a boy of her dreams in a queer place. On a farm, none the less. The boy, Naoki, has a dark secret. He isn't human, nor is demon. He's nothing, taking in a form of a school boy. :0
