So I wrote this last night while talking to Dank (my writing buddy) and I really like it. Yes I will still be updating One Life to Live. Thanks for reading! Ti amo With love, Melly The stinging was in my ears for as long as I could remember. I knew what it ment. The oh so high pitched noise ment I had to get out of there, fast. If I didn't, there were no second chances. It was now or never. I ran outside, as far away as possible until my legs couldn't run anymore. I stopped, looked up at the star filled sky, and took one deep breath. For a moment I had stayed still. Then, the dust has covered where I had been.
Update! Really guys. Tell you your friends! I need more people to read! This story is kinda weird and should be confusing! I know, lots of short updates right now. Sorry! Ti amo With love, Melly As I swayed back and forth, through different places, I thought of the dust encircling me. It would change from pink, to purple, then to blue, and finally green. Like the northern lights. As it got to green though, it burst and new dust formed again, creating a cycle. I knew that one day, that would be me. Each speck of dusts was a soul of another floater, or someone who died for one. But I didn't care. I was going to obtain floater status number one. It did matter what I did. I would kill for it.
New update guys! Thanks for reading! Ti amo With love, Melly "Sapphire! Over here," a voice called for me. It was Terrence. He was guiding me to the door of the Skai dimension. "I'm coming," I called back. I veered in the direction of Terrance's voice. He grabbed my hand, and pulled me down to the platform. My feet gently touched the area and I let go of his hand. "Thanks," I said to him. "Whats happening? Why was I called back?" I asked him. "If there isn't a legit reason, I will run, leave for the human dimension. Dr. Spaulding cant keep me here forever," I rolled my eyes. Terrence looked at me, with a upsetting expression. "Sapphire, he's not keeping you here. You are, I am. All of us are. You know you love us here in Skai and you couldn't leave us if you tried." "Yes I could." "No, you can't Sapphire! You can't! Your not emotionally able to! Physically too! Spaulding would catch you, you'd end up nowhere! You know you wanna reach rank one and thats not gonna happen if you run!" Terrence yelled so loud at me. I wanted to cry. Not because he yelled, but because he was right. I walked away from him, towards Skai. He grabbed my arm. "Don't," I said. I held a grudge with him because of my wall. I didn't want to let anyone in. I walked into the wonderful world of Skai. The humans would think its amazing. But it truly wasn't that great. Buildings were made of pure glass. All different colors, mostly pinks and blues. There wasn't much of a sky. It was basically just a deep purple. Every now and then, a single star will pop up. That would be the calling of another floater. Sometimes it was navy blue. The grounds was filled with stone and dirt paths, very clean and neat. Willow trees and other dramatic trees filled the empty space. Flowers grew everywhere. It was a fairy tale place.
So hey guys sorry for the long wait! I keep adding a little more to it everyday, but not enough for a full update! I'm hoping for another full and really long update before the weekend (Thursday, Friday). This will most definitely happen if I get some NEW readers and loads of bumps! Thanks for continuing to read! Ti amo -Melly Being a floater, wasn't something special either. It was exactly easy knowing that if you didn't make it back on time, your world would slowly start to disappear. Also, knowing exactly when your gonna die wasn't amazing either. Our life's purpose was to cleanse the human world, sometimes even other dimensions. I guess there are a lot of benefits. We knew a lot of more mystical things of the world. Such as, other dimensions, and that the elements truly are powerful. We also are always beautiful. If you attempted to point out a physical flaw of a floater, it was virtually impossible. But being perfect wasn't everything. Sometimes, it was just irritating. "Sapphire, are you coming to the graduation?" Opal asked. She was another floater, much more gentle than me. I was an angry, ranting, but nice floater. "Oh yeah!" I replied with extreme shock. I had forgot all about the ceremony. I rushed to my pad and got my formal dress on. Brushed my hair and looked one last time in the mirror. My auburn hair feel perfectly across my shoulders and down my back. My white dress was perfectly perfect with every jewel and sparkle on it. Perfect. Just what I always would be. The ceremony was the most special part of a floaters life. It happens every year for fourteen years, starting with birth. It was almost like a human high school. Each year we learned more techniques and at the end we would graduate. Then, it was onto the next year of building in those basic techniques. This is when they would select the new floater number ones.
