What's basically happening is SOPA is a bill and it's pretty much giving all the big companies power to shut down any website they want without permission. Though I doubt it will past cause it's been said that the white house has come out strongly against it. Some companies are doing a protest tomorrow in new york against SOPA. Oh btw it stands for stop online piracy act

I signed the petition I think it's pretty important. The fact that they want to shut down and censor most every large information based website... should be reason enough for everyone to petition it.
