  3. Grace's POV
    ---~~~---~~~
I followed Jack as we drove down the road. I was never more than two cars apart from him because I was afraid I would lose him. Jack stopped at a small gas station after about an hour of driving. I hopped out of my car and walked over to him. He was standing in front of his car and he hugged me when I walked up to him.
    "You ok?" he asked me.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a little worried," I said and I looked around.
"She didn't follow us, don't worry," Jack said reassuringly.
"Ok..." I said, still really worried.
Jack looked down at me. "Ready to get moving?" he asked.
"Yep!" I said, just wanting to get the hell out of there. That place gave me a creepy feeling. The creepy feeling followed me for another 30 minutes then it faded away. I sighed in relief when the feeling went away. Jack texted me telling me to get off at the next exit. I said ok, then got off where he told me to. I followed him through a little town, then I saw a city past the town a little ways. Jack stopped halfway through the city in front of a nice looking hotel.
I got out of my car and walked over to him.
Jack smiled. "Nice, isn't it?" he asked me.
"Yeah, but we could never afford to stay here, could we?" I asked, confused.
    "We aren't paying," he said.
"What?!? Are you crazy??" I asked in shock.
"No, but we aren't paying. I own this hotel," he said "My parents bought it for me."
"Ok, I knew you had a lot of money, but your own hotel??" I said, still in complete shock.
Jack just smiled and walked inside. I followed him in slowly. The man at the front desk recognized Jack instantly.
"How may I help you sir?" the man at the front desk asked.
"Nice to see you again," he said. "And I need my usual room please."
The man at the desk just nodded. He looked at our bags then pressed a button. Another man came out and loaded the bags onto a cart then went into an elevator. The man at the desk handed Jack two keys then left. Jack led me to an elevator then when it came down he pressed the very top button and sat against one of the rails quietly.
"I used to come here a lot," he said. "I would have someone drive me and drop me off, then the man over there, George, would give me these keys and I would run to my room. I would come here when I was just sick of my parents. Especially when they were in a big fight."
"Oh," I said, not really knowing what else to say.
The elevator stopped and Jack got out. I followed him out and looked up and down the hall. There was one door. Jack walked up to the door and slid the key through, then something popped out. He put his finger on it, then whispered into something. The door swung open, and we stepped in. I stopped and stared at the room. Actually, it was more like a house!! A big house! All I could see was the living room, but I saw more doors that led to stuff like a kitchen, a game room, a movie theater, three bedrooms, and a pool!!! We heard a knock on the door and Jack went to go see who it was. It was the man who had taken our bags for us. Jack took the bags, thanked the man, and gave him a tip. Jack closed the door and handed me my bags.
"Wanna see your room?" he asked.
    "Sure," I said.
Jack went to the room next to the pool and pushed the door open. I walked inside and stopped. The room was amazing. It was huge! The walls were painted a light green, and the floor had light blue carpet that looked really soft. The bed was king sized, but it looked bigger. My favorite part about the bed was that it was a loft bed! It was a giant loft bed!! I loved loft beds. Under it was a little place to sit and do whatever. There was also a little fridge in the corner. I was in heaven.
"T-this is m-my room?" I managed to ask.
Jack smiled. "You like it?" he asked.
"I love it," I said, smiling. I turned around and hugged him.
He smiled,"I'm glad you like it. Now, just go ahead and set up. I'm going to go to my room."
Jack walked out of the room. I was still smiling. I hadn't been this happy since Jack fell in love with me! I was with the one I loved, and I was finally safe from Ale! Or, so I thought...

  9. Grace's POV
    ---~~~---~~~
It had been three weeks since we had gotten to the hotel. It felt like home to me now. I felt perfectly safe there. I could tell that Jack was happy there too. Well, we were happy until it happened. On Thursday of the third week I walked into my room and saw something on my window. A note was taped to the outside of it. 'How the hell did it get there?!?' I thought to myself. I looked closer at it and read it. Then I screamed and everything went black. I woke up with Jack helping me to my feet.
"Grace?? Whats wrong? You ok?" Jack asked, worried. I was shaking. I pointed to the window and I put my head on his chest. I was about to cry.
Jack read the note out loud:
    Dear Grace,
Miss me? I bet you did. I know you're here. I know Jack is here too. Wonder how I got up here? Thats for me to know and for you to find out. Don't try to run. I'll find you no matter where you hide. You can't escape me Grace. I will get revenge!
    Your friend,
    Ale

I burst into tears as soon as he finished reading it. Jack held me there for a minute, then he pulled me off his chest so he could look at me. He wiped the tears away from my face, and kissed my forehead.
"You know what we need to do, don't you?" he asked in a sad voice.
I nodded sadly. I really didn't want to leave. This time we would have to fly though. I hated planes. Jack told me not to worry, but it's hard not to worry when a crazy chick is out to kill me. The craziest part was that she wanted to kill me because I took Jack from her! All this over a guy! I loved Jack, but I had to admit that it was partially his fault... I packed my bags and packed the food then we ran down the stairs, Jack threw the keys to George, and we ran out the doors. We threw the bags into the cars and drove as fast as we could. We made it to the airport in good timing. Jack had bought tickets online as soon as he saw the note, and had gotten a great deal. We only waited an hour before boarding onto the plane. I suddenly remembered something. I had never taken my knife out if my pockets at security. It was a knife that Jack had given to me as we were packing our bags. He said that it was just a little knife and that it wasn't anything special. It was obviously pretty special if it could go through security undetected. The blade was huge and super sharp, and it had a soft, beautiful, mother of pearl handle. My fingers fit perfectly as if the knife was made for me. I looked through the plane window at the people inside the building and I stiffened. I poked Jack and pointed to one of the people. It was ALE!!!!!

  16. Ale saw me, and glared. I saw all the hate in her eyes. There was something else there though. What was it? Was it... No, it couldn't be! Was that sorrow? Sorrow AND regret?? I didn't know Ale could feel sorry or regret anything. We kept looking at each other until the plane took off. She knew where we were going, but she only knew our first stop. I didn't even know where we were going! Only Jack knew. He wouldn't tell me though. I looked at him.
"Will you tell me where we're going?" I asked for the millionth time. Jack just shook his head. "You ok?" I asked him, a little worried. He hadn't said anything for a while. He just nodded. I just sighed and looked out the window and down at the clouds. I eventually fell asleep. Then Jack was gently shaking me awake.
"We there?" I asked sleepily. Jack just nodded. I told myself not to worry about his strange behavior and tried to shake off the feeling that something was very wrong. As soon as we got off the plane Jack started heading straight for the next flight. When we got to to gate he showed them the tickets then rushed in. I followed quickly. Once we were in our seats and everyone else had boarded the plane we took off. When I looked out the window at the people inside I saw that Ale wasn't there and I smiled. Maybe we were finally free! We could stop worrying about Ale! Maybe... Maybe we could live a normal life now. Jack still looked worried though.
"Jack, what's wrong?" I asked, starting to get a little pissed. He just shook his head.
"Dammit Jack, I know somethings wrong. I know you better than you think. Why won't you just tell me?" I asked him. He just gave me a little half smile as if to say 'don't worry, I'm fine.' I sighed and rolled my eyes then went to sleep. I woke up halfway through the flight. I opened my eyes and was about to lift my head off Jacks shoulder, but then I saw a piece of paper in Jack's hands. I looked read it and I was shocked. It said:
    Dear Jack,
You will never be safe. The only way you will ever escape me is if you cut the chip out. I know you would never want to hurt her though, so you will never escape me. If you tell her she will insist on having it cut out, so you probably shouldn't tell her. And the only one who can get it out is you. You knew that already though, didn't you? Well, have fun! Bye bye!
    Love you,
    Ale

I lifted my head off Jack and looked at him. He quickly shoved the paper into his pocket.
"I already saw it," I whispered. He cursed himself out under his breath.
"This probably won't come as a shock to you, but I want it out," I said.
There was a long silence but the Jack finally spoke. "Ok, fine, I'll cut it out when we get to our room," he said, his voice filled with sadness.
"No," I said trying to keep my voice strong "I want it out now."
