Dawn came swiftly, and I was alone. The dark surrounded me as I sat in the park, alone and slightly cold. I saw the last few people in the park disappear, and I was soon completely alone. I stood to go walking near the pond, hoping to catch a few peple still looming around. I heard a rustle, but figured it was only a squirrel. I saw the lights of the fountain and walked over to the flowing water. The statue that stood in the middle looked almost Athenian and was said to make wishes come true. "I wish all this would end..." I said aloud as I tossed in a quarter. I watched as it sink slowly to the bottom. "That can be arranged, Jenna." I turned quickly to see Alec standing over me, indimidating and strong. "Alec? How did you find me?" I asked, hoping for a distraction. "Luck." He smiled wide as I flinched in fear. "Youre alone? Hmm..." I heard him speak. I felt dizzy and my heart beat fast and unevenly. "No! I'm- " I stuttered. "Oh don't be stupid. You know I hate liars." He said as he grabbed my wrist. "All you've gotta do is be mine again... It's easy. Come on Hun. Everyone wins...Just say ya love me one more time..." He said pulling me closer. "I- I love you." I whispered, barely looking at him. "Come here babe. Say it into my eyes. I wanna know you meant it." He smirked. I leaned closer and whispered " I - Hate you!!!" I spat in his face and ran into the dark, towards the pond. I was yelled after and chased, but finally lost my breath and hid under a picnic table. I saw Alec run past me. I was safe, for now. I waited forcwhat seemed like hours, and finally crawled out. A pair of strong arms took hold if me, and held me tight. I looked and saw Bryan, holding onto me yelling for Alec. "There you are b-tch.. I've been waiting." He said as I was thrown to the sidewalk beside the pond. "One more chance b-tch... Say it!" Alec yelled as he kicked my stomach and knocked my breath out of me. I gasped and spat, "Hell no." With that, I was hit again by a fist. I was numb. I couldn't feel a thing. I knew it was over... I watched as Alec pulled out his gun, cocked it and pointed. It's true. Your life flashes before your eyes, moments before death. I saw my mom and my dad, and my grandparents cooing over my toddler body, and the first time I'd ever met Ryan, and my first kiss... Everything.. I saw my life played back and I smiled. I lived a good one.. I heard the trigger.. It was all in slow motion. . . I heard the bullet explode from the gun... I closed my eyes and fell into the darkness, as a beautiful red tricked across my cheek. My body hit the ground, as my murderers ran. I saw a light and I breathed my final breath. THE END I hope you guys liked it. My sequel. "Picking up the pieces", will start soon!! I love you all!
