There are so many post flooding the forums on people being silenced. 95% I would say are fair silences. The ones I don't agree on an I think a rule change should be considered are the ones where people say hey add me on kik user name 12345 then someone SS it and posts it on parlingo chat room and they get silenced when the mods review it. Now the SS of the bad words and such totally agree..... But the people that are hardcore SS people that go around and look for violations to get others silenced should be cut down a little. I think if a mod catches you in the act of advertising the 3 party app then fair game but doing it a few hours later with a SS is a little much, I think it would cut down a little on the silenced posts. Personally I think we should creat One Specific Thread meant for sience complaints. Mods would check regularly and respond to whoever. Also, that threas would be Only for silenced people and mods. Meaning no trolling, hating, flaming etc. That way the amount of silence threads would decrease, less hate and they would still get a response. Just a thought
Also Means, you get your answer and leave. Don't rage at mods. Telling you why your silenced is already doing you a favor.
Eh. I partially agree and partially disagree. See, Support doesn't like us silencing from screen shots. Too easily to manipulate. However, sometimes, we're given the okay. In instances where someone curses and another SS's it, I don't much agree. When they post third party app info or contact info, though, I believe they need to still be silenced. Outside contact information can lead to too many things, and as much of an ass that I am, I don't want anyone hurt. So yeah. I can agree and disagree on wavering levels.
While it seems reasonable to have a single topic devoted to people who got silenced, I don't think that the people who get silenced are capable of posting on that thread. They will always make their own topic as opposed to posting there because they would prefer more people to hear their cry.
I don't know what all you are told when you are silenced but I think it should say -what you were silenced for (already does this I think) -how to appeal the silence (emailing support) -supports email address I think silences should only be negotiated between the player silenced and support. They shouldn't be able to post on forums if they are silenced and shouldn't be allowed to post on forums ranting about their silence once they are unsilenced because they can still talk to support if they have problems.
I honestly think that people should just suck it up if they get silenced complain to a close friend just don't complain about it on forums

Personally I disagree with OP. swearing offends me less than hormonal teenagers looking for a sexting partner so advertising their name on another app. They can chat here. You only need other apps if you want to send pics....
Erm. Miley. Maybe you should follow the rules and not mention third party apps. You broke a rule, thus you do deserve the silence.
