Tutors: A guide

  1. This is a brief guide to tutors. I hope you learn and enjoy my fellow classmates. ;)

You can hire other players as tutors. When you are hired, your price increases, and you get a small hiring bonus. For those of you who don't know. :p

    2. Stats bonus
    3. Tutor chat
    4. Tutor trade

    Tutor bonus

Based on the amount of money a tutor costs, tutors will give you a "Tutor bonus" when you attack and beat another player, essentially giving you free cash. You can increase your tutor bonus by buying more expensive tutors, or lots of small tutors. Your tutor bonus is based off your TOTAL amount of money in tutors. This bonus is also capped based on your crew members.

    Stats bonus

You may notice the "Bonus to tutor" stats on your profile or other profiles. Many player use "Bonus to tutor" stats as a basis for judging strength, but it doesn't show a persons "true" stats. Bonus to tutor stats are about 2% of a players real stats if at full strength. When you hire a tutor, you gain their "Bonus to tutor" stats for your true stats. People can thus buy up strong tutors and become very strong themselves, even with low true or bonus to tutor stats. A little confusing, but I'm sure you get it. :)

    Tutor chat

You can talk to your hired tutors in Tutor chat, which is one of the three chat tabs.

    Tutor trade

People can hire your tutors away from you, and when they do this you actually make a profit from selling that tutor. People often exploit this profit buy repeatedly and quickly buying a player back and forth. This process is called "volleying". The player who is being volleyed often earns a nice sum of cash from the hiring bonus, and their price also dramatically increases. Volleying is a great way to make cash, but being volleyed is often not very lucrative. So don't ask for hires on campus chat. :) VIP players volley and buy huge tutors to increase their strength and to earn cash.

Hope you learned alot, and add anything I might have missed. Happy PIMD'ing!

  2. Eh... Not very descriptive rusty. More info should be shown such as max tutor, max tutor plunder bonus, etc. Also their should be examples or instructions or something for the tutor chat. Like how you would get there.

But thank you for your guide 

  3. Max tutor plunder has to be figured out on your own and is self-explaining honestly. I definitely should have included that you are limited to buying 200 tutors though. And tutor chat is very, very easy to find.

  4. And it would be better to make the titles a little bigger and more easy to spot such as..... TUTOR CHAT[/purple]

  5. I was writing a short guide, not a neon sign trickle. :)

  6. Max tutor is 250tutors not 200
