Prologue Was the room spinning or is it just me? I felt a throbbing pain in my head. I couldn't control my arms and legs. A demonic sound kept echoing in my head. -- "She's changed, Lia." a woman's voice said. "What's wrong with Maddi?" another woman said. Mom? "Her body is different. It has changed. I don't know why but she's transforming, Lia." I watched as mom looked worried. She saw me and she rushed over to me quickly. "Honey? Are you okay?" Mom was frantic. "Yes. Mom, I had a dream last night. I dreamt of a girl. She-she looked like a swan."
