The eighth period bell rings and I waited for Morgan in the hallway. She came out smiling and said "you're such a show off." "I know" I said as I gave her a kiss on the cheek. Next I had history and she had graphic design. As we held hands going to ninth period, I debated about telling her about the note I was given seventh period. I decided not to tell her because I didn't want her to have to worry. I took her to class, gave her a hug and jogged down the hall so I wouldn't be late
After the bell rang, it was time to leave school! Whoo! FREEDOM! I walked halfway down the hall and met up with Morgan. We walked to my locker, I grabbed my jacket then we walked to hers to get her stuff. We held hands, flirting and of course being picked on by her friends. We were always picked on but I honk they were just jealous. We got out to her bus and sadly we had to say our goodbyes. "Hey are u going to my football game tonight?" I asked. "well I wasn't planning on it but now that your my boyfriend, I'll go to support you." she replied with a smile. "Cool. See ya tonight then." I said then gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek. I got on my bus and Julia asked me "so how's Morgan?" I smiled and replied "your just jealous cuz u can't have me." She laughed and said "yeah ok." being a bit of a smart ass. As we rode home, I kept thinking of Morgan, then the note, then Morgan again. Who could of written me that note? Will he try to break Morgan and I up? Hmmm....
That night as I was getting ready for the football game, I received a text from Morgan. "hey Johnny! Can't wait to see u play tonight! I hoping maybe we could hang out afterwards. What do u think?" "Hey sweetie! I can't wait to see u. I'd love to hang out. Maybe dinner or a movie? Ur choice." I replied. "Lets go to a movie. see u soon. " The game was about to start and standing in the very front by the fence which separated the fans from the players stood my girl. The game started and the opposing team kicked the ball off. Down at our own 40 yard line. The next play, the QB handed the ball off to #20. He ran for a five yard gain. Next it was thrown to #29, for a ten yard gain. Then it was thrown deep to me, #13, for a touchdown. I ran over to the sideline after celebrating, took my helmet off, flipped my sweaty hair and gave Morgan a kiss on the cheek. "Good luck" she said. "That was my good luck kiss." I said with a wink. To make a long story short, every time I got a touchdown I gave Morgan a kiss. We ended up winning 35-21. After the game, I got a quick shower, and threw on some nice jeans, a pink button down shirt, a black blazer, and a pair of black dress shoes. Coach always wants us to go to the game nice and leave the nice. When I was done, I met Morgan outside. "Hey gorgeous!" "Hey Johnny! Awesome game!" She said as fans tapped me on the back congratulating me on the game. "You ready to go?" "Yeah" she said as she said goodbye to her friends and we walked to my car. When we got there, I opened the passenger side door, and she got in. Then I unlocked the trunk, threw my football bag in, closed the back, then got into my parents car. My car was in the shop. "what movie do u want to see?" I asked her as I turned the car on and put my seatbelt on. "Ooh I wanna see Abduction." I gave a quiet moan and said, "ok." I didn't really want to see it but anything to make her happy. We went to the movies and to be honest I couldn't wait for it to be over. I mean hearing girls scream every time Taylor what's his name came out, wasn't a meaningful first date to me. The movie ended and I took her home. I got out if my car and opened up her door, "thanks Johnny." She said with a smile. "No prob." I also said with a smile. We walked up to her door talking and laughing while holding hands. As we were saying our goodbyes, I leaned in to finally kiss her on the lips. Then the door swung wide open. We both quickly jumped back. It was her dad. "Uh good evening sir." I said as I held out my hand to shake his. But his eyes never left my face. "Dad this is, Johnny this is my dad." said Morgan trying to make things less awkward. My hand was still held out there and it was getting really awkward. "Son" he said as he put a death grip on my hand. I tried not to make it noticeable, but it was really starting to hurt. When he finally let go, I said "bye Morgan. Bye sir." and ran to my car, slid across the hood, quickly opened the door and jumped in. Then drove off into the night sky. "Dad you scared him off." "Oh well, that'll teach him to mess with my baby girl." He snarled. Morgan walked into the house with a disgusted look on her face and a big moan from her dad stepping in between us.
