Miranda watched from the building above and reported what was going on. Melly and Eric were fine yes but as she could tell Demetrius was getting closer to blood lust which wasn't good. She would have to confront him or fear exposure to the humans because as old as he his, he's getting less secretive and more open minded. After reporting to the higher ups she jumped well not really jumped more so created blocks and walked down them, she had another mission to fulfill. She had to meet with Danny since the higher ups were getting worried that he might get hungry and feed on someone in the open. She took out her file on Danny and skimmed over it sighing, she really disliked cases like these they always ended up in failure and that was something the higher ups didn't want. Bridget and Dolph continued to stare at me like they knew something was up, I bit my lip at sat my drink down," Why are you two staring at my like that?" I retorted not trying to sound spiteful. I rush to my car and unlocks it before getting in and starting the car and driving off to work. I park the car in the employee parking lot and stops the car running to the elevator and pressing the button tapping my foot impatiently as it moves down. I sigh with relief as I get in and press the button for the top floor and leans against the elevator's wall humming softly as the elevator slowly goes up. It stops on the third floor and I sigh with annoyance until I see the elevator door open and my dear friend Melly gets in. I smile with relief and me and her embrace each other in a hug,"Melly wow I haven't seen you since well graduation and that was what? Six months ago?" I say smiling and giggling, Melly laughs and hugs me back,"Yeah I been so busy trying to get this job and now I have it meaning me and you can finally catch up on lost time."She says happily, I nod and agree before and when the elevator doors open we hug each other again and depart. I continue on my way to meet Miranda stopping shortly to say 'hello' to the secretary though I could never remember the poor girl's name. I go into the office and sigh when I see Miranda sitting on her desk her freshly manicured nails tapping on the furnished wooden table. I go and sit down at the table and realize sadly that I never got my files from the mysterious man. "I thought you would never show up dear. What took you so damned long?" Miranda asks and I go and explain to her what happened and winces when she grips the desk and gibes a deadly glare but then relaxes and nods like she understood. Did she?
